Boohoo Plus – perfect pieces for the Party Season
Well done Boohoo Plus! The plus size range, that was launched about this time last year, has won the prestigious ‘Best for Curves; award at the Cosmopolitan fash fest. This doesn’t really surprise me, the award is well deserved for a range that offers great choice, really smart designs and good value for the sometimes disappointing plus size clothing market. This season, Boohoo has picked up on the key trends, and offered versions that will delight fashion fans everywhere. We have some gorgeous midi skirts, with elegant styling that is subverted by the use of velvet, mesh paneling and pu fabric that add a sexier edge to that office essential.…

Embracing Faux Fur at Next this season
At the risk of repeating myself for the umpteenth time, I have to say I am not a fan of Winter. It is too cold, too dark and too miserable for me, I love light nights, warm days and sunshine. But one thing I do like about Winter is the way it is suddenly acceptable to add really fun, faux fur pieces into the wardrobe, with the mantra seeming to be ‘the brighter, the better.’ I took a little Christmas shopping trip with my mom and sister on Sunday, and mom treated me to a fabulous soft grey fun fur gilet from Next that I have had my eyes on…

High Street brand M&Co have recently updated their website, and so I decided to have a little look at what was different. Caggie Dunlop – A winter masterclass
Some girls just know how to dress for the really cold weather. I can’t claim to be one of them. I don’t really like wearing trousers all that much, always feel overly warm in a winter coat, and I keep loosing gloves. Which is why sometimes I require a masterclass in the art of Winter dressing. Watching The Made in Chelsea Christmas special a few days ago, I got one from Caggie Dunlop. Yes, the pouting one seems to have winter dressing down to a tee! She can do dressed down in utility style jackets and jeans, and dressed up in the most amazing winter cashmere cape (courtesy of Hayley…
