Euro 2016 – My Highlights and best bits
It has been far from a spectacular tournament, and I was totally disappointed with the final winners being a team who had only won one game in 90 minutes, and had finished third in their group, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t enjoyed Euro 2016. I’ve loved it! From Giroud opening the tournament with a cracking goal, to Eder’s final flourish, there has been a lot to enjoy for football fans this summer. The Euro’s by Numbers
The knockout stages are completed, with some teams already packing their bags and heading home with their brief dreams of lifting the trophy over. Yet for the 16 teams that remain, that dream of glory is still there, with more excitement and frenzy to look forward to in their quest for Euro glory. As a football fan I can honestly say I am so excited about this, and looking forward to Joe enjoying his first tournament since he became football crazy. My heart is hoping for an England win, my head is telling me it will be France, and I’m…

Making the most of your garden with a some footie fun
One of the best things about the arrival of Spring is the chance for Joe to play out in the garden, both after school and in the holidays. Joe is most definitely the sort of child who would be described as an ‘outdoorsy’ type, he likes all kinds of sports, running, climbing and riding his scooter. But the thing he loves doing most is playing with a football. The phase ‘football crazy’, may just have been made for him. My football Mad boy So, the return of the light nights and warmer weather also mean the start of the garden football season for my family. Joe already has his eyes…
