Celebrity get the Look featuring Paloma Faith, Rachel Riley and Lucy Watson

This week’s celebrity get the look is certainly an eclectic one. We have a beautiful blonde Bond girl carrying a bag she designed in collaboration with LK Bennett, and one of this years Oscar winners wearing a super cool brand of sneakers. There are some of the most stylish reality TV stars wearing a combination of High Street and High End, whilst a couple of the most stylish British singing stars are showing off some of their best looks.

Let’s take a look in more detail at some of the best looks of the Summer.

Rosamund Pike carries the Rosa Bag from LK Bennett

Rosamund Pike, already the face of LK Bennett, has now collaborated with the brand to create a line of the most gorgeous, luxury bags. In a sea of blues and greens, with a colour pop of orange, these are the perfect new season bags in the softest of leather. Rosamund has been pictured toting the bag with off duty casual, and I think this is actually one of her best looks, fresh and effortless. Anne Hathaway wears Ash

Oscar winner Anne Hathaway is another star who is most often photographed in glamorous, red carpet outfits. So it was a real surprise to see her dressed down and wearing a rather fetching pair of Ash trainers. The ‘Virgin’ design are in cool leather, although I think Anne may be wearing a slightly lighter colour than the ones featured below.

Lucy Watson wears Marc Cain

Fast becoming the most stylish star to emerge from the most recent series of Made in Chelsea, Lucy showed off her style at the premiere of the latest Jennifer Aniston film. Her vest/camisole was a beautiful sequined number from Marc Cain, and I really admired her minimalist look, the sparkle of the top requiring very little in the way of accessories.

Vanessa White wears French Connection

Often overshadowed by the other ladies of The Saturdays, Vanessa White looked absolutely wonderful in this horse print blouse from French Connection. I love how she teamed the quirky print with a sexy leather pencil skirt, and neat up-do for a variation on the ‘sexy secretary’ look. The print is also featured on a bag which I think is a little bit special.

Paloma Faith wears Steve Madden Deeva Heels

Paloma Faith is always eye-catching in her style choices, and at T in the Park she teamed her exquisite Diane Von Furstenberg dress with a pair of superb heels from Steve Madden. The Deeva heels are rather high, and are not for the faint hearted, but I can think of no-one who could wear these better than the diva that is Paloma.

Ravir Singh wears M&Co

Daybreak always brightens the morning with its stylishly dressed stars who showcase a range of High Street brands. This dress worn by newsreader Ravir Singh was one such look, this tiered dress is from the M&Co boutique range and is a really striking look.

Rachel Riley wears Phase Eight

Rachel Riley came over all Marilyn Monroe in this beautiful Karenina rose print dress by Phase Eight. The Countdown mathematician always impresses with her choices, and this was retro pretty.

Samantha Barks and Caroline Flack wear Oasis

Two great style spots from Oasis. First up is Samantha Barks, who styled her floral silk bird print top perfectly for the V music festival. Also wearing Oasis was the lady with those wondrous legs, Caroline Flack, who avoided her usual option of shorts and instead went for a pretty floral print dress.

Kristina Guerrero wears Isabella Oliver

A special mention must be given to Kristina Guerrero, heavily pregnant and looking pretty amazing in the Lexington Silk maxi dress from Isabella Oliver. This is a soft watered print, and the silk makes this a very elegant choice for the mum-to-be.

Lucy Watson wears Dorothy Perkins

Another Lucy Watson spot, with Lucy Watson wearing a skirt from Dorothy Perkins that is most certainly looking forward to the new season. A skater style in dogtooth print, add opaques and be wearing this well into 2014.

Jennifer Aniston wears All Saints

A superstar spot, and one who doesn’t often appear wearing High Street, Jennifer Aniston was spied wearing a silk scarf from All Saints. The scarf looked fabulous teamed with a smart blazer, showing why many celebs choose scarves as their accessory of choice.

Jess Wright wears Celeb Boutique

And finally, whilst some stars seem to be wearing their Autumn pieces already, the lovely Jess Wright is doing a great job of making the most of the summer in this flirty floral dress from Celeb Boutique.

Star Style – Little black dresses featuring Miranda Kerr, Alexa Chung and more…

No wardrobe can be without a little black dress. It’s a failsafe outfit that is the one thing you can pull out of the wardrobe when you have those ‘nothing to wear’ moments. I have a wardrobe of little black dresses which I know cover every occasion and never look anything less than chic. And celebrity fashionistas know the value of the LBD too. From Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys, and Marilyn Monroe wearing Norman Norell, black dresses have always been a style staple for the Holywood greats. And stars like Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Kate Moss show that the power of the little black dress is still alive and kicking in the 21st century.

So if you are stuck for something to wear this festive season, take the pressure off and opt for the classic..the little black dress.

The sophisticated Look -Miranda Kerr

The Roland Mouret galaxy dress is a modern design classic, and the influence shows no signs of disappearing. This fabulous dress from A Wear channels the Galaxy elegance so you can get Miranda Kerr’s elegance and maybe bag yourself an Orlando Bloom!

The cute look – Alexa Chung

Black dresses do not have to be super sophisticated cocktail numbers. Alexa showed that the ultra pretty, covered up puritan style can look gorgeous on gamine beauties. You can get the look at Dorothy Perkins.

The glamourpuss – Jennifer Aniston

If ever there was a modern queen of the little black dress it would surely be Jennifer Aniston. Jennifer has worn little black dresses so many times on the red carpet it is almost a shock to the system if she opts for sparkles. She always lets the dress do the talking, and you can steal her slinky style in this number from Dorothy Perkins.

The Flapper – Hilary Duff

1920s styling is such a hot look, and is perfect for the LBD trend because it is the decade that saw Coco Chanel invent the little black dress. Hilary Duff looked gorgeous when she fully embraced the look, but you can tone down the look and look fabulous at any Christmas party with this dress from Oasis. Acres of beads optional.

The Icon – Kate Moss

Kate Moss has worn a lot of little black dresses over the years, and never fails to look anything less than amazing. One of my favourite looks this year was the strapless gown that she wore to the Rimmel lipstick launch. Is there a better party dress than this? You can get a similar look from Miss Selfridge.

The Goddess – Christina Hendricks

The great things about Little black dresses are that they flatter everyone. A prime example of this is the glorious Christina Hendricks, who often dresses her voluptuous figure in black dresses. But no smock efforts for Christina. She literally pours her curves in for total va va voom. You can get a similar look from Evans.
