Get Kate-tastic Inspiration from Dorothy Perkins
I just adore the Duchess of Cambridge’s personal style. I don’t really care that Alexa Chung beat her to British Style Icon at the Fashion awards, or that Vivienne Westwood isn’t that impressed with her choices, I think she is an immaculate style inspiration who understands that fine art of dressing like a lady. Kate watchers amongst you can’t help but notice that Kate is also proving a style information for the High Street too. Ladylike dresses with neat clean lines are everywhere, and non more so than at Dorothy Perkins. Just look at some of the Duchess inspired dresses I found whilst trawling their website. Then pop along yourself…

X Factor – latest Fashion Catch up
It will soon be drawing to a close, with just one week left for those requiring their X Factor fix. The series has not been classic in the fashion stakes compared to the wonderful years of Dannii and Cheryl, but there have still been some great style moments, and in Kelly Rowland, a genuine style icon has been born. Duchess Kate turns on the Grecian glamour in silver.
Last night saw Kate Middleton wearing an exquisite, one sleeved, silver evening gown by Jenny Packham as she co-hosted a dinner to raise funds for the National Memorial Arboretum Appeal. The stunning Grecian style gown, with one loose sleeve and a tie waisted belt, was a departure for Kate in terms of colour and style. Jenny Packham is a real really good choice for Kate with her classic, elegant evening wear, and this dress was just so beautiful, with the metallic tone really suiting Kate’s colouring. Kate’s dress is long and flowing, and I can’t find it on the Jenny Packham website, but there is a shorter version that looks very similar…

Kate – The American Odyssey
The North American tour continued as Kate and Wills waved Canada a fond farewell and set off to charm America. All eyes were on the beautiful Duchess who had held Canada in the palm of her hand with her easy smile, charming manners and fabulous fashion. Could she now do the same in America…and, more importantly, what would she wear? A little bit of Roksanda As a huge fan of Roksanda Ilincic, I was really hoping that Kate would wear one of her fabulous dresses, and so I was over the moon as Kate stepped off the plane wearing the blue/grey Peridot dress. This was a great look for Kate,…
