Kate Middleton earns her spots and stripes.
As one of Team GB’s most glamorous supporters, The Duchess of Cambridge has perfected a style that is both chic and smart, but does not draw undue attention from the athletes. It seems in the last few days that when she hasn’t been wearing official TEAM GB pieces that polo tops and tracksuit jackets, that she has stuck to a wardrobe of skinny jeans teamed with a blazer, and a palette of mainly (what else?) red, white and blue. The Smythe blazer made a second appearance this week when it was teamed with a Breton striped vest top – a real summer classic. Breton stripes are always such a cool…

Duchess Kate wears Roksanda Ilincic to the Royal Academy
The Duchess of Cambridge summer wardrobe of style continued today, with two appearances by Kate, at the equestrian event to support Zara Philips (who was superb by the way…), and then at an event at The Royal Academy she wore a beautiful dress by one of my favourite designers, Roksanda Ilincic. But first to the equestrian ground. Kate was in casual mode, wearing the gorgeous Smythe blazer that we first saw during the tour of Canada last summer. Skinny jeans, the Stuart Weitzman wedges and a crisp white shirt completed the look, which had a very preppy edge to it. Every girl needs a smart blazer in their wardrobe, Kate…

Kate’s Olympic wardrobe – The story so far.
One of the most exciting things about the Olympics from a fashion point of view is that we are going to be seeing a lot of the Duchess of Cambridge, which of course means lots of fab outfits to pour over. Kate has so far been seen in cut price Hobbs, cut price Zara…and CHRISTOPHER KANE! (Cue mega excitement from me!) On Thursday, during the final Olympic countdown, Kate looked very cool and summery in the ‘Wessex’ dress from Hobbs. This was a typical Kate style dress, nipped in waistband and full-skirted, with a pretty grey and white loose check pattern. The dress was on sale for just £35, but…

Sainsburys Christmas in July
Last Thursday, on a rather hot, stuffy day in London, I was strangely transported to a different time, a time we know and love as CHRISTMAS! Yes, the Christmas in July events were in full throttle, but due to actually try to enjoy summer I hadn’t been to any of them this year. But all this changed as I got that festive feeling – starting with a stunning event organised by Sainsburys. Held in the totally beautiful surroundings of Il Bottaccio, Grovesnor Place, Sainsburys introduced us to a real Winter Wonderland, a showcase for everything seasonal, from party wear to gifts, food to flowers, beauty products to Prosecco. There was…

Cowgirl styling from Spartoo
This Summer has been one that weatherwise, we would’ve been happy to miss. Although we would all prefer to be in flip flops and sandals, the torrential conditions have meant we have had to think outside the box for our shoes. In many cases, shoes have been abandoned altogether and stylish celebrities have taken a tip from the Wild West and invested in a pair of cool cowboy boots. Kate Bosworth sported Western style at Coachella with her cool cowgirl styled shirt, and savvy fashionista’s like Vanessa Hudgens,Zoe Saldana, and Taylor Swift have all adopted the trend, whilst Nicole Richie is another big fan of the boots. Even the Duchess…
