The Sports personality of the year awards are always a clear sign that it is nearly Christmas, and this year the ceremony was more exciting than ever. It was a case of going for gold for Duchess Kate at the Olympics opening ceremony when she opted for a glorious brocade/lace coat in the subtlest of gold shades.
