Rigby and Peller combine glamour, luxury and seduction
Rigby and Peller have a name that is just synonymous with luxury and glamour. Now in its 73rd year, the premium lingerie retailer, which has held its royal warrant for more than 50 years, offers the luxurious, the glamorous and the beautiful when it comes to lingerie. And the upcoming collection offers a darkly Gothic glamour that speaks of vampish beauties in 1940s B- movies, all violet and purple, silk and lace. 60 Glorious years – Are you set for the Jubilee yet?
We are just over a week away from one of the major events of the Summer. Next weekend the party will be in full swing as Queen Elizabeth the 2nd gets set to celebrate 60 glorious years on the throne. Not since Queen Victoria has a monarch ruled for so long, and whether you are a fan of the royals or not, I think we all appreciate that Elizabeth has been an exemplary servant to her role. In celebration, it seems that every retailer is encouraging us to embrace the red, white and blue. This can be in the form of quirky t-shirts, pretty dresses using those most patriotic of…

Duchess Kate wears Matthew Williamson – and looks AMAZING!
At the African Cats premiere, Kate Middleton showed why she continues to impress with her style credentials, choosing a glorious Matthew Williamson style dress that just ticked all the right boxes. In the softest grey, this shift style dress had the bang-on-trend peplum waistband and an unusual jewelled and beaded neckline and cuffs that had a touch of the ornate 1960s about them. The jewelled neckline also added a colour pop with green and yellow beads that sparkled and shone on the wettest night of the year. How to get the look You could create your own version of Kate’s dress with a simple, sleek peplum dress that could then…

Kate sparkles Like Mulled Wine at Sandringham
We have been hearing stories about Kate Middleton’s five outfits on Christmas Day, and at Sandringham Church we were treated to a good look at one of them. Kate chose a gorgeous berry shaded frock-coat that has been described as being designed by an independent British Designer, but which reminds me of a Katherine Hooker style that Kate has worn previously. Collarless and belted, this longer length coat looked supremely elegant when compared to the rather short styles some of the Royal ladies chose to wear to church. Kate teamed it with a jaunty hat from Milliner Jane Corbett. This kept the outfit looking young and fun, whilst opaque style…

The Duchess of Cambridge wows in Amanda Wakeley.
One word – WOW! The Duchess of Cambridge looked absolutely exquisite last night when she carried out her first solo official engagement, standing in for Prince Charles at a charity event. Wearing a 1930s style bias cut white/silver evening gown by Amanda Wakeley, Kate had movie star glamour and elegance. The dress was more revealing than Kate has worn for evening engagements since the Royal Wedding, showing off slim toned arms and shoulders. This is not the first time Kate has turned to Amanda Wakeley for an evening event, wearing the salmon pink and silver gown for the Ark event in June, and it seems that the designer and Kate…
