60 Glorious years – Are you set for the Jubilee yet?

We are just over a week away from one of the major events of the Summer. Next weekend the party will be in full swing as Queen Elizabeth the 2nd gets set to celebrate 60 glorious years on the throne. Not since Queen Victoria has a monarch ruled for so long, and whether you are a fan of the royals or not, I think we all appreciate that Elizabeth has been an exemplary servant to her role.

In celebration, it seems that every retailer is encouraging us to embrace the red, white and blue. This can be in the form of quirky t-shirts, pretty dresses using those most patriotic of colours or just a scarf to add that touch of jubilee fever. If you fancy becoming royal for a day, Selfridges has an amazing range of tiaras that verge from the sublime to the hilarious so you can channel your inner queen.

Here are some of the key picks from the High Street and the net for all those who are looking forward to one hell of a party.

Selfridges

Just loving this cute, fun tiara from Tatty Devine at Selfridges. I can’t quite imagine Her Madgesty wearing this, but it packs quite a style statement all the same.

TATTY DEVINE Star Tiara £66

Dorothy Perkins

Just in case the Jubilee weather goes the same way as most of our typically British Bank Holidays, Dorothy Perkins have delivered a perfect pair of patriotic Wellington’s.

Navy Union jack wellies £23

Debenhams

Navy large jubilee print shoulder bag

Just loving this kitsch bag from Floozie by Frost French, reduced to £36 in the Debenhams summer spectacular. There is most definitely a crown for every taste (and head size) in this cute print.

Red floral Jubilee wash bag

This red floral washbag is a great buy for under £10. Perfect for summer hols, just buy all travel sized products and you will be able to put all your toiletries in one place, avoiding those horrid suitcase spillage.

M&Co

Corgi t-shirt £15

Well, what could be more royal than a corgi. Super cute, and a bargain at £15.

Crown print blouse

If quirky dogs aren’t your thing, then maybe this crown print blouse is more your sort of thing. I think the tiny print is really pretty and I love the front knot detail too.

Sharing is caring!

Welcome to the world of fashion-mommy, a world of fashion, lifestyle, theatre and fun. Enjoy the ride.
