One of my New York Fashion Week favourites, Jason Wu, unveiled his latest collection yesterday, and the collection could be summed up with a single statement ‘Oh So Pretty’. The designer, one of Michelle Obama‘s favourites, produced a collection that was gorgeously feminine, supremely elegant and totally girly – all of which is music to my ears. Full of peachy pinks and coral tones, using the wispiest of chiffons and silks, this was a collection for those who really wished to embrace the pretty side of their style personality. Is Sex and the City coming back to television?
This is the big rumour this morning…and if it is true, it would absolutely make my year! According to some sources, including today’s Mail on Sunday, the iconic and much missed Sex and the City may be making a welcome return..to TV. It seems that another tv show is a definite possibility. The Mail says ‘Sarah Jessica Parker will be producing. It seemed like a match made in fashion heaven, Sex in the City style icon Sarah Jessica Parker and Halston Heritage, the younger sister of the Halston brand, synonymous with Studio 54 and glamorous seventies style. But is seems that SJP and Halston Heritage have parted company after just 18 months. This seems such a shame.
