Set in the grey concrete confines of the Mailbox underground car park, the show was vibrant, glossy and full of High Octane glamour. I have been to fashion shows in the strangest of places. In shopping centres, in the middle of Department stores, in plush hotels, historic buildings and industrial abandoned spaces. All have been bold and brilliant in their own way. But I can honestly say I have never been to a fashion show held in an underground car park…until now that is. A night of Beauty at Harvey Nichols
Last week, Harvey Nichols in Birmingham was the scene of an old school beauty event, with all manner of skin and cosmetic treatments on the timetable. Beauty School dropout had a lessons in cosmetics from Benefit, Skincare from Space NK, and combined this with a tuck shop, a dress up box, and a real lesson in art from the super talented Milly Jackson.
