30 wardrobe updates for under £30
Now we are firmly ensconced in the month of March, and with Mother’s Day celebrations out of the way, it is the time to give that wardrobe a Spring makeover. And whilst I’m not saying you should be packing away those jumpers just yet (it is still rather cold if we’re honest.), we can start to think about adding new pieces to our looks that could be classed as transitional. Also, we should also be thinking towards Summer, as holiday fabulous pieces are already hitting the stores. I have focused on 5 different stores/websites in order to bring you a wardrobe update edit. I’ve chosen pieces from Next that echo…

Wallis review – A little blue dress
When Wallis sent me the Ink Lace Ruche Side dress a couple of weeks ago, I never in a million years thought that this particular dress would become my ‘go-to’ frock, perfect for all manner of occasions, easy to wear, and versatile enough to team with a range of other colours, including metallics. 50 Shades of Dakota Johnson
It has been the most anticipated movie in years, and over the past weekend ’50 Shades of Grey’ has been breaking box office records all over the country. I must admit to being one of the few people who have no interest in seeing the film:- I hated the book and can’t really see how the film will be any better. I am interested, however, in the wardrobe of the film’s leading lady, the gorgeous Dakota Johnson. Dakota is not only breathing life into the seriously annoying Anastasia Steele, she is also lighting up red carpets everywhere with her fabulous wardrobe. This is a lady who knows exactly how to…

My Fort Shopping Challenge
The Fort Shopping Centre is a Birmingham Shopping Destination that offers more than 40 stores and restaurants including Debenhams, New Look, Evans and JD Sports. I was recently asked if I wanted to take part in a special blogger challenge that Fort had planned. Could I put together a capsule outfit for the new year for £50? I obviously jumped at the chance! So last Saturday I made my way to The Fort. After a lovely lunch at the Harvester Restaurant, I left Pete and Joe to look around the sports shops whilst I searched for a great outfit. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, but did know that…

Outfit posts – Christmas and New Year Review
One of my favourite things about the Christmas and New Year Period is the opportunity to get dressed up . I am a magpie at the best of times, loving sparkly, pretty things, and Christmas is the perfect opportunity to either buy something glittery and new, or to delve deep into the wardrobe in search of those things that we only seem to wear when the Christmas tree is up and the man in red is on his way. This year I’ve been lucky enough to have had a very busy festive period, so I thought I would share some of my favourite outfits I have had chance to wear…
