December Outfit post – Part 1- Build up to Christmas
Happy New Year to you all! I’m starting the year with the usual outfit round up, this time for the month of December. But, as December has been a very busy and active month, I am going to split December into two posts, with this one being the run up to Christmas, which was filled with parties, panto’s and all around good living. Party season meant some new pieces added to my wardrobe, and a dip into my sparkly wardrobe currently housed in my son Joe’s room. New pieces include the Untold dress from House of Fraser, which is probably the shortest thing I had worn in years, and the…

Reviewed – Mystery Boots by Hotter
[affilinet_performance_ad size=468×60] As much as I love a pretty heeled boot, I have to say that doing the school run every day makes wearing them virtually impossible. Joe’s school is in a semi rural area, and this Autumn it has been a nightmare due to falling leaves and rainfall. Frankly, in heeled boots I have had to take my life into my hands as the pavement has become treacherously slippy – at times I’ve walked in the road which is not a good idea either due to it’s narrowness and the volume of traffic that comes through. Clearly I needed to be wearing something more sensible. Thankfully, Hotter shoes have…

November Outfits Post #WIWT
November is always a busy month, because it is when the road to Christmas really begins. So this month has been filled with really lovely events, shows and parties which has been a great excuse to get into my second wardrobe. This is one that lives in my son’s room and contains my party wear, the clothes covered in sequins, sparkle and glitter. Because, if you can’t sparkle at this time of year, I’m really not sure when you can. As ever, I have tried to link to pieces that are in shops now, or have featured alternatives in similar styles, cuts and colours. My second wardrobe is one that…

Outfit Post – Gothic Princess.
When it comes to clothing and outfits, I am a sucker for colour. Whether it be vibrant red or yellow, or softer shades of blue or pink, colour is something I have always embraced. If truth be told, as much as black is classic, elegant and always described as flattering, I do find it a little bit on the safe and boring side. But last week I had two events in the same night and I decided that the look I wanted to go for was a Gothic Princess look. I wanted something pretty and floaty, a little bit fairy tale, but I was thinking more Malificent than Cinderella (because,…

October Outfits Post
October was a lovely busy month, and, as much as I hate the coming of Winter, October was also a fairly pleasant and mild month. I was able to still leave the tights off for most of the month so that was a bonus, and I avoided jeans as much as I could – another bonus. I was busy with some lovely events that gave me a few chances for dressing up, including my mom’s 60th birthday which we celebrated in a rather lovely Italian restaurant, and saw me nab that Topshop cold shoulder dress that I’d spotted, and fell in love with in the window of Outfit in West…
