Reviewed – Clarks Kendra Accent in black suede
Clarks have this week started a very special boots promotion, with up to 50% off selected styles. I was lucky enough to be asked if I would like to review a pair, and being both a huge fan of Clarks, and a complete boot addict, of course I said yes. The pair that I chose was the Kendra Accent in black suede. I have to say that these are a seriously smart and sexy pair of boots that I just love wearing. The Kendra Accent are just the sort of boots that I love. By this I mean they have a heel, but also a platform that makes them feel…

Cutting the Cost of Designer Handbags
Designer handbags are an important accessory for the fashionable woman. They are a symbol of status and social mobility. Several high end handbags tip the pricing scales at just over £20,000. Even the lower end stock of reputable handbag designers price out at the £300 to £500 range. Needless to say, many designer handbags are so expensive that they remain but a dream for a large portion of the population. If you have had your heart set on the more expensive handbags, you might…

Clothing at Tesco brings a touch of Brazil
Last November I was lucky enough to be invited to the Clothing at Tesco press day, and even though I was feeling very ill that day, actually sleeping on the train all the way to London, I knew that this was one preview event I really didn’t want to miss. The theme was linked to the World Cup in Brazil, which will dominate Summer 2014 for at least half the population. So we got lots of bright colours, citrus, neon and primary shades that just popped and dazzled so beautifully I was instantly in love. We also got beachy vibes in ethnic print maxi dresses and skirts, playfully teamed with…

Friday shopping focus
This Friday I’m bringing a mixed bag of fashion. The sales really are on their last legs, but this is often the best time to shop since the savings to be made are at their highest levels. You can pick up things that will slot straight into your winter wardrobe, and also buy investment pieces that you will be able to keep for a special occasion (or even for next year’s Christmas parties if you really like planning ahead). You can also enjoy some of the newest drops in fashion land with the latest collections. It may be the grotty weather, with its cold and dark days, but I’m enjoying…
