My Favourite shoes from Duchess Kate’s fave brand
I booked my Summer holiday on Saturday, and so I am already planning my holiday wardrobe. And whilst I will shop around for an array of swimwear, pretty sundresses and accessories, there is only one place I head for my perfect summer wedges. And, it seems I am in good company. LK Bennett shoes have gained notoriety in the last few years for being a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton. But, for once, I have the beating of Kate, and can happily say I got my favourite LK Bennett shoes before the Royal Wedding, and hence missed the demand for everything that Kate wears.…

Duchess Kate – The recycling continues.
As her pregnancy continues, Kate Middleton shows why she is well deserving of the title ‘The Duchess of Thrift’ as she continues to recycle and revamp existing pieces from her wardrobe for public occasions and private events. This weekend alone, Kate has shown off two different coats that she has altered in some way in order to accommodate her very neat, but ever-growing baby bump. As you would expect, my edit is heavy on dresses and skirts, with a definite slant towards the sexy pencil shapes in the form of tube skirts and wiggle dresses. I am also loving the sorbet…

Ted Baker’s Sweet Shoppe – So sweet and Tempting
I’ve been a huge fan of the Ted Baker Sweet Shoppe since it was launched as a pop-up shop in my local Selfridges in Birmingham. The cute and, well, really sweet, collection of bags, shoes and accessories appealed to the girlie side in me. I loved the sherbet colours that truly reminded me of the sweet shops I loved when I was a little girl, with rhubarb and custard and lemon drops in large glass jars, just waiting to be weighed and then poured into paper bags. This was both high fashion and nostalgia, and for that I was hooked. Last week I succumbed to temptation and got one of…

Roll-up, Roll-up for the Selfridges Shoe Carnival
What is your favourite carnival? Maybe you attend a local one each year, with floats full of children in fancy dress. Do you go to Notting Hill every August, seeing out the end of the holidays in festive style? Or maybe you’ve got further afield, to the beauty of the Venice carnival, with its masked figures and Rococo style elegance, or to sun dripped Brazil for the Mardi Gras? Fabulous carnivals one and all. But this year you don’t need to travel that far to experience all the fun of the carnival. Just pop along to Selfridges and experience the colour, vitality and sheer lustworthy beauty of the Shoe Carnival…
