Annabelle Neilson launches The Me Me Me’s
The model and socialite (and Kate Moss bestie) Annabelle Neilson is about to add another string to an already impressive bow with the launch of her children’s book series. Entitled The Me Me Me’s and starting with a little red character ‘Angry Me’, Annabelle is leaving the fashion world far behind and is instead delving into the world of often volatile children’s emotions. The Me Me Me’s series is appearing at a perfect time, with the film ‘Inside Out’ showing the wide range of feelings and emotions that children are sometimes unable to express in their own words. ‘Angry Me’ is all about a little red character of who struggles…

King & McGaw – Easyart gets a new name!
In February I did a post about the amazing range of images and art prints that are available at Easyart. (You can check out that post here.) Since then, Easyart has had a name change and is now known as King & McGaw, but the fabulous quality and range is still the same and comes highly recommended by Fashion-Mommy. My pick of the Handpicked Collection
For us ladies, and especially the mommies amongst us, the next couple of months are pretty good when it comes to receiving gifts. We have Valentine’s Day next week, and the Mother’s Day to look forward to in mid March. But it is safe to say that, sometimes, when it comes to the actual present, our menfolk need a bit of a point in the right direction when it comes to choosing something that’s a little more original than flowers and chocolates. Handpicked Collection is totally a point in the right direction. Described as an online emporium providing the ‘best of the best’, the Handpicked Collection is, as you may…

The Tiger Who Came to Tea at Birmingham Town Hall
If you have a small child, you will know all about ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea.’ To put it in its simplest terms, it is one of the most beloved and popular children’s books of all time. Written by ‘Mog’ author Judith Kerr, The Tiger Who Came to Tea is a wonderful story of a rather large tiger, who visits a little girl called Sophie and her mother, and stays for tea, literally eating the family out of house and home. The latest production of the stage version of the story is currently midway through a run at Birmingham’s Town Hall, and is totally thrilling its audiences, young and…

Review – Peter Rabbit animated series books
A big success on Cbeebies this year has been the gorgeous series based on the Peter Rabbit books by Beatrix Potter. The Peter Rabbit animated series is perfect for children under 7, with wonderful characters in the form of Peter, Benjamin and Lily (amongst others) and visually stunning animation that presents Peter as the lovely, wide eyed bunny we know and love from the classic stories. This Christmas there have been a series of books released to tie in with the series, and these would make fantastic Christmas stocking fillers for youngsters. The books range from traditional stories, in both board book and paperback form, and also a range of…
