The 12 Days of Christmas with I see me
I See Me are the leading personalised book company in America with celebrity fans that include the likes of Courtney Cox and Jessica Alba. This Christmas they are also catering to the UK market too with a number of titles, including a rather lovely, new version of that perennial Christmas classic, ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’. I have been sent a special copy for my lovely niece Renee, and can confirm it is a lovely Christmas gift that both children, and parents will treasure. This is a beautiful hardback book, that is initially personalised with a picture of the recipient on the title page, along with a dedication or personal…

A Christmas gift idea from Love 2 Read
A Christmas present that combines a joy of reading with personalised content. This is the premise behind the books of Love 2 Read. Quite simply, you can create a book for your child, one that combines simple sentences with photographs of events and days that are special to them. This creates a totally personal reading book that any child would absolutely love. I’ve made a unique one for Joe that celebrates his wonderful sporting achievements in 2015, and I just can’t wait for him to see it. Love 2 Read is a concept that was developed by Caroline, a teacher of 15 years, who had been making homemade picture books…

Great British Bake Off Inspiration for Christmas
It is officially the biggest programme of 2015, with 12.29 million viewers tuning into the final to see Nadiya Hussein crowned the well deserved winner. I can only be talking about the Great British Bake Off, the programme that makes stars out of star bakers, has made Mary Berry a fashion inspiration, and has made Paul Hollywood into a sex symbol (something I totally don’t get…but he does have Paul Newman eyes….if you squint!). A fabulous infographic by Bingo Find gives some of the facts and figures about the series that should be loved by aged grannies and spinster aunts, but is, in fact, loved by everyone, not least my…

Annabelle Neilson talks about the Me Me Me’s
Fresh from the successful launch of the ‘Me Me Me’s’ I was asked if I wanted to put a few questions to its author, fashion model and muse to Alexander McQueen, Annabelle Neilson. Of course, this is an offer that is too good to refuse, so this morning I am treating Fashion-Mommy readers to a lovely glimpse into the life of Annabelle, and inspiration for the fantastic new book series. 1) What made you decide to move into the area of Children’s books? I don’t feel that I decided, I started writing ‘On The Pond’ and then a couple of other short pieces; it just happened as…

The Brides Trail launch at the Grosvenor Casino
I have been to lots of launches in my time as a blogger. Restaurants, hotels, fashion ranges, new beauty products, even toy launches – I have done them all. But I had never been to a book launch, which is unusual, as I am a voracious reader who loves a new book and book shops more than, well, pretty much everything. But all this changed on Monday night, when I , accompanied by my sister Jodie, attended the launch of the latest thriller from author AA Abbott. The Brides Trail follows the mysterious disappearance of a glamorous croupier, Kat, and the race to find her by her friends, and also…
