It was the surprise Summer TV hit of 2017, and the viewing figures and Twitter excitement looks set to make the 2018 version an even bigger hit. It was the most wonderful of royal weddings. Everyone’s favourite Prince, Harry married Meghan Markle. The bride looked graceful and elegant in a gown from Clare Waight Keller and Givenchy. The groom was suitably handsome and didn’t leave a dry eye in the house with the looks he gave his bride to be, and the ceremony itself was warm and lovely, and full of touching moments that will long live in the memory. By far my favourite fashion night of the year is the Met Gala. Each year it takes a theme that is either embraced or ignored by the glitterati of the fashion and film world which makes for memorable viewing for us mere mortals.
