Swimwear trends for 2015
On a horrible day like today is (talk about blowing a gale) it is good to start looking towards holiday season. And, if like me, you’re lucky enough to have already booked your next getaway, you’ve probably already turned your attention to swimwear. Let’s be honest, unless you are Kendall Jenner, it is a minefield trying to choose the right style and design. From bikinis to swimsuits, there’s so many styles, designs and prints to choose from. So, to help you select the best option for your shape, I’ve got an expert on board in the form of Danielle Kisby from leading lingerie and swimwear retailer, Bras Galore. Here are…

Making a saving on the summer holiday wardrobe
As much as I love the physical activity of shopping, I find that these days I do it less and less. There are many reasons for this. The first is that I work from home during the week, and find it a little bit naughty to just take off on a shopping trip when I’m meant to be working. My hand luggage essentials
As we move into May, the realisation comes that it is getting very close to holiday time, and I start to think, once again, of what it is I’m going to be packing, both in the suitcase, and in my hand luggage. We are traveling with Jet 2, which means a decent amount of hand luggage (10 kilos), but the fact is that you are going to be carrying this bag around the airport so you don’t want to overload and do yourself a shoulder injury before you actually get there. Affordable family holiday site Icelolly.com have recently put together a blog with their hand luggage must haves, and although…

Sainsbury’s celebrating the best of Easter
Easter is coming! Yes, with some children breaking up for the Easter break this Friday (not my son though, who has to wait until 2nd April for his freedom), our minds are turning to thoughts of chocolate, Easter egg hunts, fluffy Easter chickens, and all manner of food. With all that in mind, Sainsbury’s have produced a great new ad campaign that celebrates all the best things about a traditional, delicious British Easter. I love this video, because it shows all the fun and reality of a British Easter. There is the chance to have fabulous picnics and family barbecues – as long as the notorious British weather allows it.…

Win Sponsored Child Places with KalliKids
No-one ever really tells you just how expensive it is being a parent. As well as the clothes and toys, the food, the holidays, the school expenses, you also have to think about all the extra-curricular activities that help your child to develop as a person and give them so much fun and satisfaction. My little boy Joe is 6 and currently takes part in football coaching, karate lessons and swimming lessons which cost nearly £20 per week. For some parents, in these days of budget cooks, food banks and austerity, these added expenses would be an expense too much, and so, consequently, some children miss out on these fabulous,…
