Task Pr Press Day – fashion, accessories and much more.
As a blogger I get to attend lots of fashion events and press preview days, where you get to look at new products and launches. Some of these events can be, quite frankly disappointing, but others are really great examples of event marketing, choosing a great venue, having a brilliant ambiance and showcasing products and clients to their best possible advantage. One of the nicest events I have attended lately was a press show showcasing brands for Task PR. This was a great selection of fashion, jewellery and accessories and was held at the Soho Gallery, a quirky, multi-storied venue in the heart of London. This venue, with it’s wooden floors…

Wallis Bloggers Day – Summer Sunshine Style
I spent a very pleasant Tuesday afternoon in the company of some very lovely bloggers and the fabulous ladies from Wallis PR at a special Wallis Spring/Summer blogger event. With Prosecco, cake pops and delicious sandwiches provided, as well as a fashion feast in the form of the Wallis Spring/Summer Collection, this had promised to be a really lovely event – and it lived up to all expectations. One of the nicest things about bloggers events at Arcadia is that you actually have the opportunity to try on lots of the new ranges to really look at sizing, shape, and just how they generally look on women who are not…

After the success of the her first collection for the store, it was obvious that the new collection would be the cause of much excitement, and now it is finally here. The Lulu Guinness for Uniqlo collection combines Lulu’s iconic and inimitable designs in t-shirt form, creating a collection of totally adorable tops that are just perfect for Spring. The designs take in Lulu’s well known symbols, the dollface, the ‘LG’ logo, the cupids bow lips, and the pretty lidded eyes with those long, long lashes. These symbols make the collection very feminine and very fun, and will…

Uniqlo and Celia Birtwell – It’s here!
This is definitely one of the most anticipated High Street and designer collaborations ever. The legendary textile designer Celia Birtwell, the lady behind those iconic Ossie Clark prints, has collaborated with cool Japanese brand Uniqlo to create a series of pretty basics and much lusted over scarves and stoles. Taking those same iconic prints that once adorned the coolest of 1970s stars as the starting point, the prints have then been rescaled, recoloured and the reworked in order to make them fresh and irresistable for 2013. Sure to be a total sell out, and with models Portia Freeman and Charlotte Pallister fronting an eye-catching campaign, this is a collection you…
