Friday fashion focus – Yellow
When it comes to colour, there is one shade that I always move towards. Yellow is the colour of sunshine, custard, buttercups and dandelions, of pretty tea roses and Big Bird, and it is one of my favourite things. I love it in Winter when the days are short and dark, it just adds a little bit of sparkle to make everything seem a little brighter. This year, the iconic boot is celebrating 65 years since the first pair went on sale, and they are looking as good as ever. I have a slight obsession with shoes! Ok, scratch that, I have an enormous obsession with shoes. I just love beautiful footwear, and it is the one thing that I find really hard to resist, even when I’m on a spending ban. Trying to pass a shoe shop, particularly when there is a sale on, is the equivalent of King Midas bypassing the Jewellery Quarter – it’s just not going to happen.
