Cool shoe trends making a comeback
Many of the styles made popular in past fashion trends are making a chic comeback. For example, the funky boat-shoes and Sperry’s of the 1980’s are one of the hottest looks in footwear currently, appealing to men and women of all ages. The question arise as to where to find these retro shoes, as some may not be interested in combing through thrift stores or vintage shops to find these clever, versatile items. Online retailers appeal to buyers looking for hard-to-find items, and that want to comparison shop to save the most money. For instance, it is possible and quite easy to find new Sperry’s in a wide range of…

Style Classic – Hunter Wellies
There are some things in your wardrobe that can be classified as ‘style classics’. The crisp white shirt, a beige trenchcoat, the little black dress, you can probably name a few others. And when it comes to Wellington boots, only one brand really deserves to be labelled as classic, and that has got to be Hunter. I’m not sure why Hunter Wellies have this cachet rather than other brands. Spring at Dorothy Perkins
Spring has sprung at Dorothy Perkins, and it is looking very, very pretty. The High Street store is always one of my fave places to visit when I’m updating my wardrobe for the new season for many reasons. It covers the trends, but not in a fashion victim way. It offers lots of variety, with the additional ranges like Billie & Blossom and Little Mistress. And, most importantly for thrifty fashionista’s, it offers great quality at reasonable prices. The season, Dorothy Perkins is showcasing gorgeous Spring florals, both in strong prints and applique detailing. There are cute playsuits for the young, and retro style dresses for the young at heart.…

Trend focus – Coloured shoes
One of the easiest ways to get colour into your wardrobe is through accessories. Brightly coloured handbags and stylish scarfs are certainly one way to brighten up a simple outfit, but my favourite way to add colour to my wardrobe is through shoes. And it seems that this is a popular trend at present. A whole host of stylish celebrities have shown how a bright shoe can transform an outfit into somthing special. Molly Sim and Nikki Reed have used reddish tones to add interest to black trousers, whilst America Ferrara and Cobie Smulders have opted for bubblegum pinks to contrast against their evening attire. I particularly love America wearing…
