Kate – A right Royal Jubilee Round up
It already seems like an age away since those fabulous Jubilee celebrations, but now is the perfect time to take a look at the outfits worn by the Duchess of Style during a rather hectic week. Whilst the Queen was the centre of the nation’s attention, Kate Middleton held the attention of every seasoned fashionista. And she didn’t disappoint, flying the flag for McQueen once again during a very busy royal week. Lets take a look at some of her key looks…with a few types on getting the Kate Factor for yourself. The Queen of Style
I was asked to speak on my local Radio station,BBC Radio WM, yesterday, about our Queen. In particular, I was asked to speak about her style, her designers and her clothes. Because, although she may not be the name you immediately think of when discussing stylish royals, the Queen is undoubtedly one very stylish lady, perfectly able to set trends, and one whose 1950s wardrobe was full of the most beautiful outfits that continue to inspire today. Last Thursday I attended a whole raft of press previews for Autumn/Winter 2012-13. I started with one of my favourite shoe retailers – Kurt Geiger. Now, people who have known me for a long time know that I have a long-standing love affair with the Kurt Geiger range. I have boxes and boxes of the most amazing Kurt Geiger, KG and Carvela shoes that I would never part with – if Kurt Geiger ever got shown at the Design Museum a la Louboutin, they could call on me! So I was really excited by the press day and the new collections, which was entitled ‘Pretty in Punk’. And I loved…

Nelly.com launch party – Oh what a night!
Late on Tuesday evening the email I’d been waiting for dropped into the Inbox – an invite to the Nelly.com launch party. This was the much-anticipated launch to the exciting online company that is already the toast of Scandinavia, and is now set to conquer the UK. To be held in the luxurious surroundings of Aqua, this was a party not to be missed. And of course, it surpassed all expectations. The whole of Aqua had been the willing victim of a Nelly takeover. There was a nail bar treating guests to glittering manicures, rails of gorgeous dresses from the likes of AX Paris to drool over, and then there…
