Is it too early for a 1990’s fashion revival?
A look back to this post from 2010. According to the October edition of Vogue, there is a 1990’s revival occurring in fashion. This made me shudder in disbelief, the 1990’s don’t seem to be far away enough in the past to be subject to a revival. Nor do they seem to be a distinctive enough style decade to warrant said revival. This got fashion-mommy thinking about her 90’s style, and the decade in general in order to try to answer the question ‘is it too early for a 90’s style revival, and if it is not, is it really worth reviving anyway? Early 1990s My early 90’s style was…

Bedroom Furnishing
Furnishing a bedroom from afresh can be a daunting prospect, however design wise, these days pretty much anything goes. Adding a beautifully crafted lamp and expensive designer bed linen will draw the eye away from a mass manufactured wardrobe and bedside table, or a plain looking bed. Basket Bags – The Look of Summer
Every summer it seems I succumb to the same fashion obsession. I fall in love with every straw basket or bag I set my eyes on. I buy at least one new one per year, and then use them until they inevitably fall apart. Menorca is a really fabulous place to find them, with natural, simple designs taking their place amongst the coloured straw and more elaborately embellished ones. There is a basket to suit every taste, and they really suit the boho look of maxi dresses and cheesecloth skirts, but look just as good with jeans and a cotton top, or used as a beach bag with a Talitha…

June Outfit round up – Part 1
The usual monthly outfit post has, for June, been split over two posts. The reason for this is that I spent the second half of the month on holiday in Portugal wearing a lot of outfits which I will share at a later date. So the outfits featured here are from the first part of the month, which was busy with football tournaments, shopping for said holiday, blogging events and my birthday. As ever, I have featured the item and links to it in the post if it is currently available, but some of the clothing featured are old pieces from my wardrobe, whilst others are charity shop finds. This…
