1950s styling for Spring – what would Grace Kelly wear?
This Spring, take some fashion inspiration from one of style’s eternal goddesess. Grace Kelly, who became Princess Grace of Monaco, had a personal style that was both classy and classic, and has remained a look that continues to inspire and delight fashion fans year after year. It is a style that always works well for Spring, due to the freshness of the full skirted printed dresses she wore with such aplomb, and the modern addition of her ever present sunglasses. These are looks you can find online, with Vivien of Holloway being one of the best destinations when it comes to finding dresses that have that retro style and print.…

Reviewed – The Feathered Beauty Scarf
With the rise of the blogger as come the rise in the blogger online store. Many bloggers these days run online shops alongside their blogs, selling items like costume jewellery and scarves that offer a real stylish alternative to items sold on the High Street. Celebrity Get the look featuring a host of ITV stars
One of my favourite types of posts to research and write concerned with Celebrity Get the Look. These posts are always interesting to research, and I particularly love it when I find that a particular outfit contains elements that come from the High Street or from online companies. So we have Corrie ladies Georgia May Foote, Sair Khan and Lucy Fallon (Katy, Alya and Bethany) who are showing both red carpet and…

December looks post

For someone like me, who loves glamour and sequins, faux fur and pretty dresses, I always try to make the most of all those opportunities to get dressed up, and although this is not a comprehensive list of everything I have worn for the festive period, these are some of my favourites. It is also a post that is definitely demarcated by illness.…

Style focus – Alice Eve
Alice Eve is one of those actresses who has quietly been creeping into our minds in 2015. She’s been around for quite a while, (I remember her in the BBC adaptation of ‘The Rotters Club’ quite a few years ago and she was pretty great in that) and has starred in films like Starter for Ten and Sex and the City 2, but 2015 has seen her emerge as one to watch, and 2016 will see her star with Hollywood luminaries such as Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins. Winning the genetic lottery has also helped her to stand out, as the daughter of Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan she could…
