The SAG Awards – Pick of the dresses
And the awards bandwagon rolls on. This time it was the SAG awards, which, traditionally, is a slightly more dressed down affair than the Golden Globes and The Oscars. On this occasion though, there were some really nice dresses, although nothing that would actually make you gasp. Very bright or black and white seemed to be the order of the night, although there were some notable additions of sparkle from Helen Hunt and a sizzling Naomi Watts. Here are some of the key trends, the style winners and losers from a glamorous night. Glamorous Sparkle Naomi Watts was a definite contender for best dressed. Wearing a silver strapless sheath from…

Blue is most definitely the colour this season
If you want to update your wardrobe in the simplest way possible this season, add a touch of blue. Blue is most definitely the colour to be seen in, in any of the many shades of blue. From the azure sea shades, to the deepest of midnight blue, to royal blues and turquoise, all the shades are covered and styled, in so many different shades. The celebrities are wearing it so well at the moment and offering divine fashion inspiration. Model of the moment Cara Delevingne shows that bronze is the perfect colour to clash with your cornflower blue shades. Lana Del Rey should be singing her rendition of ‘Blue…

Cannes – Daytime Classics
The Cannes film festival is always a super glamorous event, and that means for daytime photocalls as well as evening Red Carpet events. This is not an occasion for jeans and t-shirts, the celebrities are never less than dressed up at Cannes. And this gives fashion watchers the perfect opportunity to check out some fabulous looks for daytime. From lace to florals, to Freida Pinto in the cutest two piece, there have been some highly covetable looks that could translate to glamorous daytime occasions like the races, the tennis and weddings. These are my favourite daytime looks so far from Cannes. Kirsten Dunst shows that white can be the perfect shade for both porcelain…

The Oscar Fashion Awards go to…
I adore the Oscars, it is, without doubt, my favourite fashion night of the year. And, despite the fact that E! stopped the red carpet coverage before the arrival of Angelina, Gwyneth, Natalie or Sandra, this was still a vintage night for Fashion. So, here are my very own red carpet Oscars to celebrate all that was good in the Oscar Fashion World. Best dressed Angelina Jolie opted for classic black Atelier Versace, but with a thigh skimming split that kept her sexy bad-girl persona in place. I loved that she went for black velvet, bringing to mind a sexy, Hollywood version of our own Kate Middleton. Super Gwyneth looked…

Baftas fabulous fashion – How to get the look.
The bright and beautiful of Hollywood took a trip across the pond for the BAFTAS on Sunday evening, bringing some pretty serious fashion statements with them. Michelle Williams, Jessica Chastain, Meryl Streep and (swoon! swoon!) George Clooney all took a trip down the red carpet, being accosted by a Louis Vuitton clad Miss Piggy on route. There was also a strong showing from the Brit contingent, with Emilia Fox, Tilda Swinton and honorary Brit Gillian Anderson shining on a rather cold winters night. Here are my personal favourites from the night. Michelle Williams drew gasps when it emerged that her classic gown was from H&M. The whole look was…
