Marie Curie Charity fundraiser at LK Bennett
Last Thursday, I was lucky enough to be invited to a very special style evening being held by the cancer charity Marie Curie at swish Birmingham Mailbox store LK Bennett. The event was being held to raise funds towards a the establishment of a family room at a new Midlands hospice, and Birmingham’s stylish ladies turned out in force to support the event. It’s LK Bennett again for Duchess Kate..and it’s all about the peplum.
The Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge made a visit to Leicester today, and, as usual, all eyes were on the Duchess or, more specifically, what she was wearing. This was a great look for Kate,…

Enjoy a Vintage feast at Pavillions.
If, like Fashion-Mommy, you are a bit of a vintage magpie, then I have some dates for your diary. On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June, vintage is coming to the Pavillions, Birmingham. The fabulous City Centre destination will be hosting a vintage Fair that weekend, playing host to 60 stores that will be selling a whole host of items, from craft to couture, designer finds to real vintage bargains. The event will take place from 9.30am until 6.00pm on the Saturday, and 11.00am until 5.00pm on the Sunday, and entrance is absolutely FREE. I think this is a fabulous idea and love the Vargas style posters that are being…
