Ugg Australia Fantastic new collection unveiled in Brum
I was never a fan of Uggs, until I was given the opportunity to view the full collection when the Bullring Birmingham store opened. I was not only pleasantly surprised that Ugg Australia was about so much more than comfortable, warm, but slightly bulky boots, but also seriously impressed by how fashion forward the range was. (You can read that original post here.) Earlier this month I was invited to the fabulous Birmingham Bullring store to examine what Ugg Australia had in store for us this season. Last year there has been a style emphasis on New York, with definite retro nods to the 1970s. This season, Ugg has traveled…

Getting excited about new season boots
I don’t mind admitting that while I hate winter with a passion, I do get excited about new trends and fashion. And one of the things I get really excited about are new season boots. I know that some people do wear boots in Summer (and quite frankly, where would we be most summer’s without our Hunter Wellies), but I am most definitely a person who holds off wearing boots until the leaves start to fall. I’m sure you’ll agress, looking out of the window the last couple of days, that now is most definitely boot weather. One of my favourite shoe retailers Spartoo always comes up trumps when it…

Summer Shoe Trends
The summer may be fast coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean you can’t stock up on some of this year’s hot weather favourites before you head out on that late summer break abroad or as the season’s sales hit. Summer shoe trends stay relatively similar each year, with a few fun twists thrown in to go with that year’s wardrobe crazes. Here’s a look at what’s been hot on beach feet this year: Wedge heels Not everyone is cut out to wear high heels, so wedge heels come as a much needed alternative this season. Wedge heels are known for their provision of height with more security…

Reviewed – Esther Studded heels from Bank
Bank is a store that was off my fashion radar for a long time, I thought it was for sporty, casual (and much younger ladies) than myself, and so avoided it, walking past, not even peering in through the window. But two things changed my opinion lately. The first was the opening of a new Bank store in New Square, West Bromwich. I was kindly sent a voucher and so visited the store to spend it. I was very pleasantly surprised, there were lots of items that I really liked, including glittery jumpers and a fab selection of scarves. The second thing that really led to a change of mind…

Bank Christmas in July event – Simply Stunning
Another hot, indeed scorching, Summer day, and another event where we were looking towards the festive season. This time the event was in the swish surroundings of London’s Westbury hotel, and the brand in question was Bank. And if, like me, you think of Bank as a destination only catering for very young, casual and fast fashion, be prepared to have a serious rethink, because the Bank Christmas in July event was full of glitter and sparkle. There was definitely vintage inspiration on show in the collection, with beading, embellishment and sequins all heavily in evidence. The Great Gatsby elegance shows no signs of disappearing, and 1920s style evening dresses…
