Michelle Heaton launches the Aegon Classic Ladies Day

    March 26, 2013 /

Yesterday I braved the snow and ice for a very special launch event that was taking place in Birmingham. In the glamorous confines of the In House Bar in Birmingham’s House of Fraser, the Aegon Classic Ladies Day was officially launched with Bucks Fizz, canapes and a very glamorous ambassador. The very beautiful Michelle Heaton from Liberty X was unveiled as the official face of this years ladies day, and a more wonderful and apt person could not have been chosen. Michelle recently faced a very difficult health decision after she found she had an 80% chance of developing breast cancer due to the mutated BRCA2 gene. Michelle had a…

Celebrity Get the look featuring The Saturdays, Evan Rachel Wood and Jenna Dewan Tatum

    March 26, 2013 /

Another week,  and another host of celebrities showing off some of their best on and off duty looks. From pregnant Hollywood ladies in Isabella Oliver, to those girls currently celebrating their first number one single (The Saturdays of course), there are some great, individual styles on display. We also have a flurry of looks from that much favoured by celebrities brand In Love With Fashion, including a rather pretty dotted dress worn by Mollie King that has a very special 20% off for a couple of days if you use the special code below. And we have a new fashionista pick from Cecile, with luxurious t-shirts, as worn by Yasmin…

    ASOS Festival Fashion

    March 25, 2013 /

Summer seems such a long way off at the moment, as we head towards a Merry Easter where Santa himself could be delivering the Eggs. Yes, the weather is that bad. That said, we are almost into April and the excitement about Summer festival season is already building.  Bon Jovi have been announced as playing on the Oak Stage at the bst hyde park this summer, whilst there is lots of excitement about the headliners at this years Glastonbury, with rumours about everyone from The Rolling Stones to Prince appearing at this years event. And, in sunnier circumstances, next weekend sees Coachella, the festival where sundresses and celebs are the…

Colour Clashing Style with Clarks Cloudy Skies

    March 24, 2013 /

Earlier this month I wrote about how I had been given the opportunity to review some shoes from one of my Fave High Street brands, Clarks. In that post I reviewed the gorgeous Ancient Myth shoes in Mint suede. (You can read that review here.) In my second Clarks review I am keeping the bright colours theme with another gorgeous pair of suede shoes, this time it is the Cloudy Skies in Fuchsia Suede. The Cloudy Skies shoe has a distinct 1940s vintage feel, with a soft square toe and chunky heel. This is most definitely a shoe that suits girlie girls, so utterly feminine is it in design. The…

Reviewed – AX Paris Laser Cut PU Scallop Skirt

    March 22, 2013 /

I must confess, I haven’t worn a leather, or leather look skirt since I was 20. The last one I wore was a black leather pencil skirt that I got from Camden Market, wore a few times, and then retired, thinking I looked like a watered down version of a Midlands Joan Jett – so not a good look. But earlier this month, whilst browsing the AX Paris curve collection choosing a piece to review, I spotted the Laser Cut PU scallop skirt. This was a leather look skirt with a difference. Forget thigh skimming pelmets, or ultra tight tubes, this skirt was demure and modest, almost 1950s in shape.…
