Britmums Live – My first experience
I was incredibly lucky this weekend as I was able to attend my first ever Britmums Live conference. I was fortunate in that I had sponsorship for this event from fab fashion brand Kaleidoscope, without which I could not have attended, and I am pleased to say that it was every bit as good as I thought it would be. Here are just some of the reasons why. 1. The opportunity to meet with brands and their representatives was both useful and illuminating. Britmums have teamed up with Money Supermarket.com to host a special challenge for those little ones with decidedly green fingers. Called the Kids Grow Wild…

I chose the gorgeous print maxi dress which I believe is the summer dress that my wardrobe needed. The print maxi dress is made from a lovely stretchy jersey fabric that makes it comfortable to wear everyday. The print is a vibrant mixture of red, blue and white in a sort of patchwork pattern that gives the dress the feel of a classic 1970s sundress, with the detachable straps making this a great option for…

In the days when we constantly hear about the influence of street fashion, and the idea that ‘real woman’ offer a style alternative to both the catwalk and glossy magazines, it is great to see one High Street Retailer putting its money where its mouth is.
