Stylish Films: Their Finest
BBC4 is one of my favourite TV channels, and not just because of the Top of the Pops reruns. It is also a place to find classic TV from the past, good subtitled Scandi style dramas, and little known gems of films. Over Christmas I enjoyed rare repeats of ‘A Ghost Story For Christmas’, the Grace Dent ‘What we were watching’ episodes, and, of course repeats of #TOTP. I also watched a British film that I had never heard of, but enjoyed thoroughly, ‘Their Finest’. Their Finest is set in London during the Blitz. January Charity Shop and Vinted Buys
I have to be honest and say that I have pretty much neglected my beloved Charity shops in the months before Christmas. This has been due to no other reason than being busy buying Christmas presents, organising my son’s 13th birthday, being snowed under with work, and generally not having lots of time to browse and enjoy. It’s Christmas Eve when the snow falls and covers the garden of ‘the boy.’ He is so excited, building the biggest snowman he can before being taken to bed by his mom, to sleep as Santa does his…

January Casual Style With Femme Luxe
So January has come around again, and boy is it cold. The sparkle and glamour of Christmas has now gone, and along with it the mild climate that we seemed to be enjoying (we won’t talk about the rain) and this week we have seen temperatures plummet to zero, and we’ve even seen a bit of snow. All this calls for a more cosy feel to our wardrobe, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to look stylish. Femme Luxe is Queen when it comes to wonderfully warm and stylish clothes. Their women’s loungewear sets are almost legendary, and their little black dresses and winter white midi dress have been…
