The latest ‘get the look’ post has a bit of a best of British feel to it. It includes some celebrity looks from London Fashion Week, stars of daytime television who show just how stylish the High Street can be, and a diversity of footwear ranging from boots to trainers. We have Rita Ora’s collaboration with Adidas, the ‘Pastel Pack’, a trainer and hi-top that come in deliciously girlie shades of pink and blue. Wallis launch their latest W collection
The launch of the Wallis W collection is fast becoming something that I really look forward to. A grown up collection that is full of smart pieces that can be mixed and matched with each other, and with the rest of your wardrobe, the W collection mixes great British style with elements of cool French tailoring. The new range also has enough sparkle and bling to show we are heading towards the festive season. The new range is an eclectic collection that combines tailoring, outerwear and elegant dresses. There are 30s style, wide leg trousers, 50s style Bardot dresses, the sort most recently seen on Kylie Minogue on The Voice,…

It seems that Megan is totally on the ball when it comes to her choices, as some of the styles are very similar to those being worn to the most exclusive shows this season. Model Laura Bailey has been photographed wearing mannish pieces, wide leg trousers and men’s style…

New season focus – BHS
In recent seasons BHS has seen a style revival that puts it right at the top of the list for stylish, yet affordable clothing. In addition to housing Wallis and Dorothy Perkins concessions, their own branded clothing has become something that is definitely worth looking at. Last year I wore BHS dresses to two major Midland fashion events, the Harvey Nichols fashion show, and Style Birmingham Live after party, and both dresses got lots of compliments, and a few shocked looks when I said ‘It’s from BHS.’ This season, a few pieces have already been appearing in the press and eliciting really positive comments for the style, cut and colours…
