Fashion for all the family at Tu Clothing
One of the greatest things about the clothing sections that now appear in most supermarkets is the sheer convenience of being able to pick up an outfit as you do the weekly shop. If you need something quickly, or suddenly discover you need a certain colour t-shirt or cardigan, there is no longer a need to pay a visit to the High Street, you can simply throw whatever you need in the trolley with your bread, milk and pasta. Tu clothing, the range available in Sainsbury’s supermarkets, is a brand that always impresses, both with the variety of styles on offer, and the quality of the pieces. The season’s collection…

The Glamour and Glitz of the Debenhams Press Day
Out of all the press days I attend, the Debenhams Press event is always one of my absolute faves, and one I try hard not to miss. It is always a glamorous occasion, held in a sumptuous, beautiful venue, and the clothes on display are full of pieces that you instantly fall in love with. With some of these pieces due to start hitting the stores and online very soon, now is the perfect time to look ahead to what we will be wearing this Autumn/Winter. The influences are a really mixed bag from the Designers at Debenhams. There are 1950s full midi length skirts and dresses with beautiful brocade…

Reviewed – The Salamander Eco Cotton dress from Gudrun Sjoden
When we look at fabrics that are suitable for summer dresses, we seem to be naturally drawn to cool linens and cotton. I’m not a real fan of linen – I love the look on everyone else, but on myself I always look and feel like I’ve slept in my clothes. But cotton is another story, the practical thin layer that keeps us cool and avoids those lived in creases. The Salamander Eco Cotton dress from Gudrun Sjoden is one of those perfect summer pieces in eco cotton. It is no secret to readers of Fashion-Mommy that I am a huge fan of Gudrun Sjoden, the vibrant prints, unique designs…

New Victoria Beckham Denim at Coggles
At the risk of repeating what is becoming the ultimate fashion cliche, it has to be said that Victoria Beckham has come an awful long way since her Posh Spice days. And, Sunday’s Wimbledon final was the ultimate (yes that word again) proof of this, with almost universal awe for the super stylish looks that she wore, accompanied by the equally impeccable David. The Wimbledon final saw the showbiz royalty that is the Beckham’s sharing space with the real thing, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also watching Novak Djokavic win the Men’s Singles Championship. I think it was safe to say that as lovely as Wills and Kate…

Reviewed – Multi Sequin Print Maxi Dress
As a real lover of maxi dresses, it was inevitable that when I packed for my recent holiday in Menorca, the case was going to contain quite a few pretty maxi’s. The multi sequin print dress from Wallis was always going to find room in my bag, the colours are just so pretty, this was calling out for a holiday sun tan to set it off perfectly. The multi print sequin dress is distinctly Pucci style in it’s vibrant print. Made up of gorgeous summer shades, yellow, pink, blue and purple that give an Aurora Borealis effect when meshed together, the dress is perfect for anyone who just loves bright…
