Sunglasses review from My Glasses Guru
If you are looking for a pair of stylish, affordable sunglasses then My Glasses Guru is well worth a look. The site has a wide range of sunglasses, both prescription and fashion, and includes premium brands like Tom Ford, Swarovski, O Neil, Ted Baker and Storm. I was recently asked if I would like to review a pair of sunglasses from the site and I chose a lovely pair from the Superdry range, the Juku with a caramel frame. Wednesday Fashion Focus
Sometimes I write about fashion to focus on particular trends that I am loving. Sometimes I write about fashion because I want to discuss the latest celebrity looks, and give you some ideas on how to get them. But sometimes I just want to write about pretty things I would love to add to my wardrobe, and this is one of those days. Gudrun Sjoden – One dress worn 5 ways
I have been a long time fan of Scandinavian brand Gudrun Sjoden. Gudrun’s designs are always beautiful and unique, clothes that are amazing quality and offer something that are so different from anything else you will find, High Street, Designer or otherwise. I love a good challenge so I browsed the website, chose the perfect dress, and set about looking for accessories to make five different, but totally versatile looks. The dress I chose was the Florencia cotton/Silk dress which is still available in all…

5 Reasons to use Chemist Direct
Chemist Direct is a company I was unfamiliar with until quite recently. It is an online Chemist service and drugstore that also sells a wide range of bath, hygiene and skincare products, along with vitamins and medicines, suncreams and haircare ranges. I was recently offered the opportunity to try out the online services offered by Chemist direct and have to say I was really impressed with the range and the delivery service. In general, I tend to get ‘bathroom and beauty’ products from a range of different places, from the supermarket to Boots or Superdrug, even my local chemist attached to the Doctor’s surgery, so a place where it is all…

A vintage Update
It seems like an age since I last wrote about my vintage and charity shops finds. A glimpse at one of my favourite vintage blogs – Porcelina’s World – this morning inspired me to share a few of my recent vintage and charity shop finds. Summer is a great time to find a vintage bargain. There are great car boot sales which are a good hunting ground. I found a great blue crimplene skirt for 50p, and a gothic black dress (pictured below) for just £2. Car boot sales allow you to barter and you can often make an offer if you find a few good items. We visit Wales…
