Christian Louboutin at the Design Museum – The Press Conference
I was mega excited to receive an email inviting me to the press conference and preview of the much-anticipated Christian Louboutin exhibition at the Design Museum. I am a huge fan of the man who created all those beautiful red soled shoes worn by fashionistas across the globe, and so couldn’t wait to get up close and personal with some of his most iconic designs. The Press conference took place on a beautiful sunny day at the Design Museum, with a panel made up of Christian Louboutin, Deyon Sudjic of the Design Museum, Simon Stacey the creative director of Household, and Diane Loveday the exhibition creator. Style focus – Marina Diamandis
The great thing about British pop music is that quirky style Queen’s always emerge to add extra visual interest to those videos on heavy rotation on MTV. From punk Queens like Poly Styrene, to 80s legends Bananarama and more recent songstresses like Paloma Faith, Shingai Shoniwa, Amy Winehouse and Jessie J, British singers have shown a style and uniqueness that has made them quirky, unique and highly original. The label in question is the iconic Boy London. I love this label so much because it reminds me of being a little girl who idolised a totally gorgeous Madonna, who often wore the label in the 1980s. The label was famous for the eagle logo t-shirt that was much-loved and much copied during that period. And now Rihanna has shown it to…

The Oscar Fashion Awards go to…
I adore the Oscars, it is, without doubt, my favourite fashion night of the year. And, despite the fact that E! stopped the red carpet coverage before the arrival of Angelina, Gwyneth, Natalie or Sandra, this was still a vintage night for Fashion. So, here are my very own red carpet Oscars to celebrate all that was good in the Oscar Fashion World. Best dressed Angelina Jolie opted for classic black Atelier Versace, but with a thigh skimming split that kept her sexy bad-girl persona in place. I loved that she went for black velvet, bringing to mind a sexy, Hollywood version of our own Kate Middleton. Super Gwyneth looked…
