Boho Inspiration from Duchess Kate
The successful Royal tour of India and Bhutan is now at an end, and it has to be said that watching Duchess Kate’s wardrobe has been an absolute joy. She has moved away from her regular, classic style and embraced an Eastern inspired wardrobe which has been a veritable feast of colour and boho inspiration. Kate’s wardrobe has been a mixture of clever High Street Pieces and designer outfits, including a red Tory Burch kaftan style dress that was worn on exactly the same day by Hollywood star Drew Barrymore. The wardrobe worked so well for this tour, looking cool and relaxed in the hot temperatures, and very modern and…

Shoezone review – Haute Hippie festival style
I first became a fan of Shoezone when Joe was small. They sold the cutest t-bar canvas shoes that had a real retro feel and were a total bargain (2 pairs for £8 as I recall.) I loved them, and of course I had a look at the ladies selection, and found it to be full of really pretty sandals and flat pumps, all of which were really affordable. I was converted and now regularly buy shoes from the brand. I was recently offered the opportunity to review a pair of shoes, sandals or boots from their current lines. I was spoiled for choice, but decided that, as it was…

Indian Summer at Miss Selfridge
One collection I’m truly loving at the moment is the Miss Selfridge collaboration with Cosmopolitan’s Shelly Vella. The ‘Inspired By‘ collection has it roots in sun soaked India, with jangling jewellery filled with silver charms, heavily embroidered pieces in purest white and rucksacks that make you think of that young ago Gap Year trip. This collection is a nostalgia tinged trip through true bohemian fashion, by way of Talitha Getty and Hideous Kinky. This collection is full of beautiful pieces that could be your summer wardrobe, whether you are taking a vacation or a stay-cation. Delicate dresses, tiny denim shorts and black suede boots are the story of your festival…

Glastonbury Style Featuring Millie Mackintosh, Laura Mvula And Kate Moss
For the coolest of festival looks you need look no further than Glastonbury. Always attracting an eclectic crowd with an inspired range of style choices, Glastonbury seems to deliver the sort of festival looks that are then copied in muddy fields across the world. This year saw Kate Moss lapping up the Rolling Stones, the lesser spotted Sienna Miller going back to her Boho roots in Ash boots, and a whole host of celebs sporting Love Bullets jewellery. Here are some of my fave Glasto looks from this years festival. Love bullets at Glastonbury Milly Makintosh and Laura Mvula wears Lovebullets JAGSI ring, which was made exclusively for Glastonbury’s Shangri…

Friday Shopping Special – Monsoon and Accessorize
This Friday I’m bringing a little sunshine into the mix with the fabulous heritage collection from Monsoon. With the store celebrating its 40th birthday (in the year my husband does the same), Monsoon has decided to delve into their illustrious archives to bring us a little bit of seventies boho, global traveller style chic. This result is a gorgeous range of cotton and cheesecloth style separates and dresses that hark back to those hazy days of summer summed up so beautifully through the misty lens of ‘The Virgin Suicides’ (one of those movies that just charm and hypnotise in equal measures) and Kate Winslet’s wardrobe in Hideous Kinky, seventies maxi…
