Treat your feet and grab a Clarks bargain
Ever since I was a small girl, I’ve had a thing about Clarks shoes. From those early days of funny foot measuring machines and leather t-bars that had to last the whole school year (stop growing feet! please!), to the day when I rediscovered Clarks and realised how cool and trendy the Mary Janes, Desert boots and ballerina flats had been all along, Clarks is a shop that has a special, shoe-shaped place in my heart. And, as we slip further through Autumn, and nearer and nearer to Winter, Clarks are again spoiling us with a range of sales and discounts that make it positively rude not to indulge your…

I can’t resist animal print shoes!
There was a time when I hated any sort of animal print with a passion. All it conjured up in my mind was tacky images of Bet Lynch behind the bar of the Rovers Return, resplendent in beehive and leopard print, closely followed by another corrie legend, Liz MacDonald, another classy, brassy looker. But those animal print hating days seem a long time ago now. These days I love any sort of animal print or skin. from leopard and cheetah, to zebra prints and even a little bit of snake. This has become the chicest of prints, whether you wear it in your clothing, or just keep it for shoes…

Reviewed – Carousel Ride from Clarks
As regular readers to Fashion-Mommy know, I am a real fan of Clarks. This is a classic British brand that is always a byword for great quality shoes. Clarks shoes appeal to me for three main reasons, they offer style but also promise comfort, they do half sizes (a godsend when your feet are bigger than a 5, but not quite a 6 grrrr) and they cater for those who need a wider fit shoe. Clarks sent me a gorgeous pair of Carousel Ride flat ballerina shoes after I asked them for something that would be comfy and glam for the upcoming school run. The Carousel Ride is firmly in…

Colour Clashing Style with Clarks Cloudy Skies
Earlier this month I wrote about how I had been given the opportunity to review some shoes from one of my Fave High Street brands, Clarks. In that post I reviewed the gorgeous Ancient Myth shoes in Mint suede. (You can read that review here.) In my second Clarks review I am keeping the bright colours theme with another gorgeous pair of suede shoes, this time it is the Cloudy Skies in Fuchsia Suede. The Cloudy Skies shoe has a distinct 1940s vintage feel, with a soft square toe and chunky heel. This is most definitely a shoe that suits girlie girls, so utterly feminine is it in design. The…

Reviewed – Clarks Ancient Myth in Mint Suede
As a huge fan of Clarks shoes for all the family I am always honoured when I am asked to review their shoes. It is one of the hardest choices to actually choose a pair when there are just so many stunning designs in the current collections, but as a lady who loves bright colour in my wardrobe at all times, on this occasion I found the choice just a little bit easier. In the most glorious green shade, the Ancient Myth shoe has a real retro feel. The kitten heel and slightly pointed toe bring to mind shoes worn in the 1950s, whilst the punchy green shade and the perforated…
