Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkins sneak preview
The first collection gathered a celebrity following – Una Healy was widely photographed wearing a range of pieces from the range, and now I can bring you a sneak preview of the second collection from Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkins. And, in my humble opinion, I think this collection is even better than the first. There are just so many great things I can say about this collection. I love the fact that Olivia has added very pretty knitwear to the mix, the sort of 1950s style jumpers that look great with pencil skirts or black skinny jeans. I love the way classic Dorothy Perkins styles have been given the…

Duchess Kate wears Roksanda Ilincic to the Royal Academy
The Duchess of Cambridge summer wardrobe of style continued today, with two appearances by Kate, at the equestrian event to support Zara Philips (who was superb by the way…), and then at an event at The Royal Academy she wore a beautiful dress by one of my favourite designers, Roksanda Ilincic. But first to the equestrian ground. Kate was in casual mode, wearing the gorgeous Smythe blazer that we first saw during the tour of Canada last summer. The Queen of Style
I was asked to speak on my local Radio station,BBC Radio WM, yesterday, about our Queen. In particular, I was asked to speak about her style, her designers and her clothes. Because, although she may not be the name you immediately think of when discussing stylish royals, the Queen is undoubtedly one very stylish lady, perfectly able to set trends, and one whose 1950s wardrobe was full of the most beautiful outfits that continue to inspire today. The first really iconic dress worn by our Queen was the wedding dress she wore to her 1947 wedding to Prince Philip. Designed by Norman Hartnell, this was a stunning blend of wedding…

TOWIE celebrity style featuring New Look, Miss Selfridge and Simply Be
My best friend is getting married in June (so exciting!), and she has decided for a real Essex Hen night, complete with a trip to the infamous Sugar Hut. This has led to Fashion-Mommy giving the style of those TOWIE ladies a lot of consideration. And I have to say that they make some great choices when they hit the High Street. The lovely Lydia Bright, Gemma Collins and Jess Wright have all recently been pictured wearing some great High Street finds that look really good without breaking the bank. Here’s how you can get the looks for yourself. Gemma Collins wears Simply Be and Dorothy Perkins I love Gemma.…

Style focus – Marina Diamandis
The great thing about British pop music is that quirky style Queen’s always emerge to add extra visual interest to those videos on heavy rotation on MTV. From punk Queens like Poly Styrene, to 80s legends Bananarama and more recent songstresses like Paloma Faith, Shingai Shoniwa, Amy Winehouse and Jessie J, British singers have shown a style and uniqueness that has made them quirky, unique and highly original. The latest lady to add into the mix is Marina Diamandis, also known as Marina and the Diamonds. When Marina first emerged I found her style to be a little bit too garish, full of wacky prints and body skimming catsuits. But…
