F&F True Floral Panelled Scuba Dress and Competition Time!
My second review from the new F&F True range, following that winning pair of jeans (check out that review here), is back on more familiar ground. Yes folks, I am reviewing a dress. In this case it is a dress that catches the eye with its bright and beautiful print and colours. This dress is the Floral Panelled Scuba Dress. I really liked this dress initially due to the pattern. I love florals in Spring, and this was a beautifully vibrant colour combination, the sort I enjoy wearing – I have no fear of bright colours. I also love Philip Armstrong scuba style dresses. I had one from a previous…

Reviewed – Boohoo Evie Mesh Hem Panel Midi Dress
I am very happy to say that after the initial launch of Boohoo’s Plus size collection, the net range is now available online, and is proving that Boohoo go from strength to strength. This new collection is bigger and continues with the positive impact of the inaugural collection by offering fashion forward, good quality pieces at really affordable prices. I loved the first collection and reviewed three of those first pieces, they slotted easily into my wardrobe and have been getting lots of wear. I have again been lucky enough to be again asked to review some pieces from the new collection, and this time I decided to venture a…

Look Again Press Event – Introducing Stacey Solomon
A couple of weeks ago I ventured to the glossy confines of Vanilla in London for a very special press event. Look Again were launching their ranges for Spring/Summer 2014, and also unveiling their new celebrity face of the brand, the very lovely Stacey Solomon. The papparazi were there in droves to photograph Stacey in some of the highlights from the new range, it was fascinating to see at close range just how frenzied the atmosphere can be. It really was mayhem, with photographers all shouting at the same time and seeming to fall over each other in a bid to get the best shots. Stacey, though, was the consummate…

Reviewed – Wallis Red Daisy Fit and Flare dress
A couple of weeks ago I wrote about my favourite picks from the new season pieces at Wallis. (You can read that post here.) The pieces I was most drawn to were the 1940s style tea dresses that came in a range of colours, and were floral and feminine. The lovely people at Wallis offered to send me one of the dresses to review, and I opted for the bright prettiness of the Red Daisy Fit and Flare dress. This was one that had caught my eye from the start. I love bright colours and prints, and this dress definitely had a real feel of springtime about it. I was…

Reviewed – Scarlett & Jo Print Asymmetric 2 piece dress
The lovely folks at Scarlett & Jo are celebrating the one year anniversary of the brands launch with a fabulous new collection, and I have been very honoured to have been sent one of the hero pieces of the collection for review. (You can see and read about the new range here.) The Scarlett & Jo Print spot asymmetric 2 piece midi dress (phew! – quite a mouthful!) is a new concept for the brand, because it is a two piece dress, where both the pieces could also be worn separately to create totally different looks. The first layer is a great, midi length, sleeveless jersey dress, fabulously stretchy and…
