2016 Tony Awards – The best dressed
The Tony Awards are the night when achievement on Broadway is celebrated, and the 2016 ceremony had more than it’s fair share of Hollywood glamour. Beautiful film stars like Lupita Nyong’o, Rose Byrne and Saoirse Ronan joined supermodels Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls in walking the red carpet, and there were plenty of exquisite looks for fashion fans to savour. It’s probably safe to say that Gigi Hadid is still the better known model and sister, especially after her relationship with Zayn Malik. But when it comes to flawless style, I think younger sister and fellow model Bella is absolutely killing it at the moment. I absolutely loved May. The weather started dreadfully – I was still wearing my winter coat, but then it became glorious and I spent a lot of time reading books in the garden (when I should’ve been working, but still!). Seasonal Style at the Botanical Gardens
Last week I was a guest of Barques PR at a gorgeous afternoon of food, fizz and seasonal fashion. The Seasonal Style event, which is held annually at Birmingham’s beautiful Botanical Gardens, was a feast of the best fashion and beauty around, with a style presentation by the lovely Beth Goodrham, and beauty demonstrations by Bobbi Brown’s leading artist Amy Conway. Add into this a host of stalls with exhibitors including Pai Skincare, Rachel Simpson shoes and Jo Malone, and you have a most glamorous afternoon.
