Kate dazzles at the Derby.
Be still my beating heart. The Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance at the Epsom Derby today, and to say she looked good would be the understatement of the year. She looked absolutely dazzling! The jury is still out on the designer of her immaculate chic outfit, and whether it was a designer number or a High Street find (the jacket may be from Joseph), but what I do know is that the off-white dress and jacket looked absolutely amazing against her Seychelles suntan. Teamed with classic nude accessories, including a tiny clutch bag, and a gloriously neat 1930s style fascinator, this was a super-stylish choice and one of my…

Kate and Pippa – Cover Girls.
My favourite part of any month is the time when the new monthly magazines hit the shelves. I am always really excited by the idea of a few hours browsing through the fashion, gossip and stories in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle etc. So, in honour of this event, I took a trip to Wolverhampton this afternoon to enjoy a peruse around WH Smiths. Phillip Treacy – Mad hatter or Millinery Genius?
If there was one person who faced criticism in the aftermath of the Royal Wedding, it was Philip Treacy. The Milliner to the stars created almost 40 hats and fascinators for the occasion, with some being better received than others. And none were ridiculed more than the creations worn by the Royal Princesses, Beatrice and Eugenie. Poor Beatrice’s hat has been compared to everything from an upturned toilet seat to a Telletubby, even gaining its own Facebook page, ‘Princess Beatrice’s ridiculous hat page. Beatrice is a big fan of Treacy, and has worn his creations in the past, often with the same ridicule, like when she wore the unusual butterfly…
