Wallis 1923 collection – beautiful retro styles.
After the gorgeous 1950s printed Summer dresses, Wallis are again raiding their vast archives to bring vintage chic to the High Street. This time they have looked to two very different eras in terms of style, the 1920s and the 1960s. I absolutely adore the 1920s collection which just screams GLAMOUR. The 1920s era encapsulates decadent vintage glamour. Wallis has taken inspiration from the Jazz Age for its 1920s evening dress collection. This has been inspired by sketches recovered from the Wallis archives and also by the Speakeasy bars evoked in Boardwalk Empire. The gold boardwalk dress evokes the glamour of the period with its rouching, bead work detailing and…

Kate Moss returns to the catwalk…and heralds the return of white in your wardrobe.
We’ve only just stopped talking about her last appearance on the Marc Jacobs/Louis Vuitton catwalk, the one where she appeared to be wearing support pants and was smoking a cigarette on National No smoking day. And now Kate Moss has returned to the Louis Vuitton catwalk, and this time it was apparently at her own request. I found myself pouring over the great photographs of her, admiring her style, but mainly admiring her wealth of chandelier and long, dangling earrings. Of course, Edie style is well-known, the beatnik black and white looks, the tights worn as trousers with the shortest of mini dresses or jumpers over the top, Edie was a style icon who is still revered today. Another member of the 27 club. Edie remains a young and beautiful presence who continues to fascinate. But it those earrings…

Style Icon of the Month September – Kate Moss
She’s been around what seems like forever, but she’s always in my heart when it comes to style, and this month, the newly married Kate Moss reappeared on the scene with a whole host of totally covetable looks, showing the young fashion upstarts that, when it comes to fashion and style, Kate still sets the bar pretty high. From high-octane glamour, to 1970s style double denim that seems to have been based on Anita Pallenburg at Nellcote 1972, Kate has worn a range of looks that have impressed. She has worn full length and fabulous gowns, little black cocktail dresses and even a jumpsuit once worn by Cheryl Cole, and…
