Kiehls Skin Rescuer Reviewed
As part of my blog birthday celebrations (three years old this month), I’ve been lucky enough to be sent some fantastic products to review. The first product is a beauty one and came courtesy of the very lovely Jen Hale from Kiehls. Kiehls sent me a bottle of their skin rescuer to try out, and I have to say the results were particularly impressive. Red-hot edit from Selfridges
What is it about the colour red that makes it so special? Is it because red is the colour associated with passion and love, from Valentine’s hearts to red-hot lovers? Is it that fact that it is also the colour of naughtiness, of red devils, Bette Davis in Jezabel, and the deep red apple that tempted Snow White? As we start to head towards Autumn, it is nice to know that colour is still a big story. Coast have a fabulous range of £95 dresses that are destined to be wardrobe classics. I love the jewelled emerald shade, as well as the zesty colour…

Bank Christmas in July event – Simply Stunning
Another hot, indeed scorching, Summer day, and another event where we were looking towards the festive season. This time the event was in the swish surroundings of London’s Westbury hotel, and the brand in question was Bank. And if, like me, you think of Bank as a destination only catering for very young, casual and fast fashion, be prepared to have a serious rethink, because the Bank Christmas in July event was full of glitter and sparkle. There was definitely vintage inspiration on show in the collection, with beading, embellishment and sequins all heavily in evidence. The Great Gatsby elegance shows no signs of disappearing, and 1920s style evening dresses…
