The Return of the Bumbag
There are some fashion trends that shine brightly for a while and then disappear forever. Other trends are more mercurial, they disappear, only to reappear, loved once again by a new generation too young to remember them the first time around. One such fashion trend that fits this bill is the once much maligned bumbag, which has popped up again on the Skatehut site in a range of cool designs. The bumbag was a late 1980s phenomenon, often teamed with a shellsuit and trainers. It was a look that, for a while, was everywhere. But it fell out of favour very quickly, linked to badly dressed tourists who wore them…

November Rain Ponchos – Made for the British Weather
If there is one thing we are guaranteed in Britain, whether it is Winter of Summertime, it is that we will have some rain. Summer holidays, bank holiday day trips, festival season, all of these events can be blighted by the inclement conditions of the weather. So it pays to be prepared, especially if you can do this in a fashionable and practical way. Graceland Ladies Beige Ankle Boots From Deichmann
There are some boots that will take you from day to night, and then there are some boots that are just made for comfy, casual days. The Graceland Ladies Beige Ankle Boots from Deichmann are just those boots. In a cute Western Cowgirl style, these are boots that are comfortable and stylish and look great with a pair of jeans. Plus, I have been able to work a mile in these without any rubbing, blisters or sore toes. That totally makes them winning in my book. The Graceland boots are a semi slouchy style, not completely loose – they keep their shape well, but they are quite easy to pull…

February Outfit Post
February. The shortest month but also one of the busiest. With half term falling at the end of the month I had to fit work around Joe’s soccer camp, football presentations and half term treats – this was one of those month’s when I really missed being at home, it seemed like I was out so much. Clothing wise, there has been a mixture of casual and dressy, and I found that the shops were still full of bargains as the sales continued. I’m currently avoiding Spring as it doesn’t feel anywhere near warm enough to be wearing pastels and thinner clothing. That said, some of my best charity shop…

Fashion-Mommy Loves: A little bit of Paris
It is no secret that I love all things French. I’m an absolute Francophile when it comes to food, fashion and men (come on…my love for Olivier Giroud is plastered all over this blog whenever I get an excuse). So when the lovely Becky from The Lifestyle Blogger UK sent me this beautiful little cosmetic bag, I was over the moon. Why? Well it’s a celebration of all things Paris of course, and with a vintage feel too. In short, it’s totally Fashion-Mommy. This little make up bag is the perfect handbag size. It will easily carry a lipstick, mascara, eye pencil and powder, a touch up kit, and would…
