Elle Style retrospective – Get the Look with Next.
February 13th sees one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the style calendar. The annual Elle Style awards attract a gaggle of gorgeously dressed stars, all showing off their most fashion forward looks on the Elle Red Carpet. Last years ceremony was a vintage one in terms of style. Thandie Newton, Helena Christianson and Sophie Ellis Bexter all showed serious style credentials, but my personal favourite was the icon that is Emma Watson . Does this girl ever have an off day? Next are the sponsors of this years Elle Style awards and they have set bloggers a challenge. Could you recreate your favourite Elle style look using pieces…

Get the Victoria Beckham look at Selfridges
Victoria Beckham is super stylish, but her look is one that is seriously expensive, requiring a king’s ransom to emulate. So, if this is your payday weekend and you feel like treating yourself, feast your eyes on these stylish classics that will add chic lustre to your capsule collection.

Sarenza shoe Ambassador – Living in shoe heaven
Trying to choose just one pair of shoes from Sarenza is like choosing your favourite choccy from the box of Celebrations, there’s just so many varieties, how can you pick just one? But just occasionally your eyes gaze upon a mystical object of sheer gorgeousness, and you fall deeply in LUST. And that is how I feel about my choice. I love them for so many reasons – for the name ‘Burlesque Beauty’ which just evokes images of the glamour of Dita…

Cote D’Azur styling from Boohoo
I have to be totally honest, I’ve not always been a big fan of Boohoo.com. I’ve always found the prices to be reasonable, but always felt that the clothes and styling was just a little bit, well, young for me. So I was more than presently surprised when I received some images of the latest collection Monte Carlo, because there were so many things that I was frankly dying to buy. This is a cool collection, chocked full of grown up styles influenced by that most chic of French Riviera resorts. There’s an obvious nautical influence, with a prevalence of reds and blues, along with the obligatory stripes. But there…

Ginnifer Goodwin – ‘Think Pink’
For me, there was only one choice for best dressed at the People’s Choice awards. Standing out in a sea of sparkles and spangles was Ginnifer Goodwin wearing a glorious hot pink dress by Roksanda Ilincic. This dress stood out for all the right reasons. It was elegant rather than revealing. It was unusual in that it actually had sleeves and was of a demure length. And, of course, it stood out for the colour, that most bubblegum of pinks! Pink is a much maligned colour that could be about to embark on a bit of a comeback tour. Traditionally associated with the most girlie of girls, like Elle Woods…
