Ted Baker’s latest collection – My Favourite piece
I’ve fallen in love with a dress, a dream of a dress that has a divine, mystical feel to it. The sort of dress that Mila Kunis or Carey Mulligan would look just amazing in, standing out on the red carpet full of cookie cutter pretty dresses. This dress is the perfect, standout Christmas party piece – it would stand out in a room fall of sequins with the sheer beauty of the design and the originality of the print. The dress is the Peera dress, and it is part of the latest range, the Langley Collection, from Ted Baker. The Peera dress combines a traditional bustier style bodice that…

Have you put on a Peplum yet?
The peplum is nothing new in fashion, but it might have taken you a while to try it out! If you’re anything like me then the strange new silhouette might have seemed a little intimidating at first, but once you try it out you’ll realise it’s the best thing in the world! Everyone from Rihanna to Kate Middleton is catching on to the waist enhancing power of the peplum; it creates a waist for boyish figures and hides bloated stomachs if you’re having an off-day. Peplum dresses in particular create a great hourglass silhouette and look sophisticated as well as on trend – my favourite is the paisley-style printed dress…

Loving ‘Penelope Tree’ collection from White Stuff
Now, I’m not sure if this new collection is named after the legendary 1960s model and paramour of David Bailey, or if they just used the name because it so cute it perfectly fits the White Stuff ethos, but I do know one thing. This collection surprised me in so many ways. I usually associate White Stuff with well made clothes that are perfect for the weekend, stylish – yes, but more casual than dressy, and not something you would necessarily think of as workwear. This collections turns all those assumptions on their heads. The Penelope Tree line has prints that you associate with White Stuff but these are quieter,…

Perfect Petite Workwear from Precis
I often get emails from petite readers telling me what a minefield it is to find stylish petite clothing that not only looks great, but fits great too. The majority of readers bemoan the fact that petite ranges are often just items from the regular collection which have a shorter length, and when High Street stores have a petite collection, it is often limited to ‘basics’ – black trousers, jersey tops and the odd pair of jeans. Clearly, there is a market for some super stylish, well cut, petite ranges, particularly in the area of workwear. That is what makes Precis so fabulous. This is a complete range dedicated to…

Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkins sneak preview
The first collection gathered a celebrity following – Una Healy was widely photographed wearing a range of pieces from the range, and now I can bring you a sneak preview of the second collection from Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkins. And, in my humble opinion, I think this collection is even better than the first. There are just so many great things I can say about this collection. I love the fact that Olivia has added very pretty knitwear to the mix, the sort of 1950s style jumpers that look great with pencil skirts or black skinny jeans. I love the way classic Dorothy Perkins styles have been given the…
