Love Sales – Never Pay Full Price Again.
Whether you buy clothes as a necessity, or whether you are a fully paid up member of the shopaholics club, you probably love the idea of a bargain. So many of us refuse to pay full price for an item, instead we wait to see if it goes into a sale at some point, hoping to save those precious pennies. But then, when the coveted item does get reduced, we miss out because we find out about the sale too late, and by then, the size we wanted has sold out. Sound familiar? Love Sales is a website that aims to stop this happening, and get you the items you…

The Glamour and Glitz of the Debenhams Press Day
Out of all the press days I attend, the Debenhams Press event is always one of my absolute faves, and one I try hard not to miss. It is always a glamorous occasion, held in a sumptuous, beautiful venue, and the clothes on display are full of pieces that you instantly fall in love with. With some of these pieces due to start hitting the stores and online very soon, now is the perfect time to look ahead to what we will be wearing this Autumn/Winter. The influences are a really mixed bag from the Designers at Debenhams. There are 1950s full midi length skirts and dresses with beautiful brocade…

Dr Beckmann – keeping the colours fresh
I like my wardrobe to work hard for me, to earn its keep, but this means keeping the colours looking fresh and new, even after numerous washes. But, if I’m being honest, I don’t really tend to sort my washing properly. Whereas I, on the other hand, have two piles – ‘whites’ and ‘coloureds’. This system usually works OK, but it can lead to disasters. We all know of those times when suddenly everything in the washing machine has been tinged…

Reviewed – Clarks Kendra Accent in black suede
Clarks have this week started a very special boots promotion, with up to 50% off selected styles. I was lucky enough to be asked if I would like to review a pair, and being both a huge fan of Clarks, and a complete boot addict, of course I said yes. The pair that I chose was the Kendra Accent in black suede. I have to say that these are a seriously smart and sexy pair of boots that I just love wearing. The Kendra Accent are just the sort of boots that I love. By this I mean they have a heel, but also a platform that makes them feel…

New Year Celeb Style featuring Sam Bailey, The Kardashians and Rosie Huntington Whiteley
The first celebrity style post of 2014 is a look at some fantastic looks that I missed in a very busy December, and also some celebrity style launches that are well worth a glance. We have the new queen of X Factor, and also Queen of Phase Eight, Sam Bailey, who flew the flag for women everywhere who just look for a chance to wear a beautiful gown. She positively blossomed before our eyes on X Factor, and every time her on-stage wardrobe featured Phase Eight, she won in the style stakes too. No wonder she is now adapting this for red carpet appearances, like at the Cosmopolitan Style Awards,…
