Wallis – the perfect summer edit
I have to say I just love the new look Wallis website. I find that I am constantly taking a look at the landing page to see what the latest trends and style stories are, along with the months key buys and offers. Wallis has recently revamped its landing page, which now has a magazine like feel to it. If you visit at the moment you will find ideas for holiday packing, the latest summer drops, the sale link and the Wallis picks for July. It is easy to navigate and looks bright and inviting, all of which makes it a great place to shop. Great websites make us want…

Friday Shopping Special – Wallis
The Friday shopping special this week is all about Wallis. One of my fave High Street brands who create a lot of the clothes I wear in my own life, Wallis always embraces a range of style, colour and design classics in its ranges. This season there is a great emphasis on bright and tropical splashes of summer, so needed when the weather doesn’t seem to have received the memo, but there are also great pieces of classic tailoring, jackets that would serve you from season to season, and an amazing array of accessories that can lift and update your wardrobe in a second. Today Wallis is offering up to…

Wallis Bloggers Day – Summer Sunshine Style
I spent a very pleasant Tuesday afternoon in the company of some very lovely bloggers and the fabulous ladies from Wallis PR at a special Wallis Spring/Summer blogger event. With Prosecco, cake pops and delicious sandwiches provided, as well as a fashion feast in the form of the Wallis Spring/Summer Collection, this had promised to be a really lovely event – and it lived up to all expectations. One of the nicest things about bloggers events at Arcadia is that you actually have the opportunity to try on lots of the new ranges to really look at sizing, shape, and just how they generally look on women who are not…

She was the socialite turned designer who created the tropical and palm print shift dress that became a timeless style classic, one of those items that appears in designer collections and High Street ranges every single season. Lilly created the original dresses by happy accident, she wanted prints that could disguise orange juice and fruit stains, and used a range of fabulous, over the top prints, and beautiful bright colours to create dresses that were fun and yet retained a simple elegance. By the 1960s her star was in ascendance as Jackie Kennedy herself was photographed wearing her designs.…

Wallis 1923 Dress Collection – The Little Cream dress
Each season, Wallis dig into their rich archive to come up with the 1923 collection. This is a collection that re-images and re-masters old designs in order to bring something to the fore that has a vintage feel whilst being totally new. This season, the 1923 collection returns with a tribute to the Little Cream Dress. This is a beautiful range of dresses that feature beading and embellishment to create dresses that bow to quite a few different eras. There are Art Deco style curved rainbows that echo The Great Gatsby trend, albeit showing far more leg than even that racy era would allow. The Cream sequin shift dress is…
