Spartoo – My top five shoe picks for the new season
Spartoo never lets me down when I’m looking for new shoes. And as it is easier to update your wardrobe for a new season by adding some new accessories, this is always an online September stopping point. I know I will find daytime styles that offer comfort teamed with an hardworking, hard-wearing ethos, but in the sort of pretty package that I demand. But I also know that I will be bowled over by some of the prettiest, glitziest party shoes out there. And I know I will succumb – because I can never resist shoes! So, here are my top five current picks from Spartoo’s enormous range. Let me…

Kate’s farewell to Singapore…and Hello to Malaysia
The fashion parade continued for the Duchess of Cambridge as William and Kate bid a fond farewell to Singapore and then said hello to Malaysia. We saw the first evening dress of the tour, and another who’s who parade of British design with more new dresses that elicited the usual raft of praise and ridicule for the Duchess. Kate’s final Singapore look was a powder blue shirtwaist-er dress from Jenny Packham. Simple and elegant, this dress has a pleated skirt and a lace bodice. Selfridges introduces Vaseline Pink Bubbly
I really love it when an old favourite re-imagines itself and gets a whole new look. That is exactly what has happened to that beauty essential Vaseline Lip Therapy. There can’t be any woman who hasn’t got a little pot of this in their handbag, but now you can get it in a gorgeous rose flavour at Selfridges, for a limited time only. The tin has also…

Loving ‘Penelope Tree’ collection from White Stuff
Now, I’m not sure if this new collection is named after the legendary 1960s model and paramour of David Bailey, or if they just used the name because it so cute it perfectly fits the White Stuff ethos, but I do know one thing. This collection surprised me in so many ways. I usually associate White Stuff with well made clothes that are perfect for the weekend, stylish – yes, but more casual than dressy, and not something you would necessarily think of as workwear. This collections turns all those assumptions on their heads. The Penelope Tree line has prints that you associate with White Stuff but these are quieter,…

celeb style special featuring Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie and Tulisa
A damp and rather dull friday is about to be livened up with a blast of cool celebrity style. From skinny jeans and combat jackets, to full blown evening glamour, these ladies know how to work their signature looks to perfection. This is an edition of ‘get the look’ that gives you the opportunity to steal some actual celebrity style, as well as showcasing some pieces that will give you a celebrity sheen without the celebrity price tag. Look 1 – Mollie King I must admit, when The Saturday’s first emerged I thought Mollie was a Sienna Miller lookalike who was also keen on stealing that boho chic look…
