Beautiful Jewellery from Glitz Blizzard
Finding out about new and unusual jewellery companies is definitely on of the plus points of writing a blog. One such company is Glitz Blizzard. The lovely Zeynep designs and creates beautiful handmade pieces which combine glitter and glamour with a vintage edge. I was sent one of the glitterbomb hearts to review on the blog and have to say these pieces are unique, delicate and oh so pretty! The necklace combines an antique style chain with a gorgeous glitterbomb heart pendant. The chain sits nicely in the nape of the neck, making this a lovely choice if you are wearing a v-neck top. The heart itself comes in a…

Pets Pyjamas – Everything for your furry friend
It will be half term in a couple of weeks, and I must admit to being very excited about this fact. I always love the chance to spend some quality time with my little boy, and this half term we have a very special visitor. My brother’s Springer Spaniel puppy Oscar is coming to stay, and this fact has had me heading to the Pets Pyjamas website looking for doggy essentials and treats to make his stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. Pets Pyjamas is a one stop shop when you have a much loved pet, in fact it combines the shop with what is almost a social…

Phase Eight Embrace Retro Winter Sun
I must admit I got a little bit excited when I first laid eyes on the new swimwear collection from Phase Eight. The brand is always a favourite of mine for the sheer glamour and elegance of the collections, there is something a little bit Hollywood about the full skirts and sequins, without even turning our head towards the spectacular ‘Collection 8’ range. And now we have a holiday range, complete with swimwear straight from the wardrobe of Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe, with a little 70s inspiration thrown in for good measure. The swimwear collection deserves the word ‘amazing’ attached to it. Forget barely there, string bikini’s, the pieces…

New Look Press Day S/S 15
Today there has been snow, and I have to say the appearance of the white stuff has got me thinking more and more about Spring. How I long for Spring – light nights, warm days, cut grass and daffodils, all things I love and dream about on these cold, frosty mornings. But as I can’t have Spring for some time yet, I will turn to the next best thing – Spring Fashion, with a focus on some of the most anticipated lines from high street fave New Look. The New Look press day took place at the end of November, on a dull drizzly day. I felt a little unwell…

My first fashion wishlist for 2015
Before I start to talk about my first fashion wishlist for 2015 (I’m thinking of doing regular updates as the new season lines start to arrive in store) I think I need to explain that this is a wishlist – rather than a what I really need list. Confused? Well let me explain. A recent trawl through my wardrobe has shown there are some real gaps in the clothes I own. I have nowhere near enough jeans and trousers, as proved as I have tried to grab for these for the rather cold school run, and have then discovered they are all in the wash. I really need a good…
