Reviewed – Lacey Burnout Kaftan from Boux Avenue
My second review from Boux Avenue moves away from the lounge wear and sleepwear of the last review, and instead looks towards my summer holidays. This review is concerned with a piece I fell in love with the minute I saw it online, and then loved even more when I saw it in the flesh. The only problem was choosing which colour I liked best! The Lacey Burnout Kaftan from Boux Avenue is a beautiful holiday cover-up. It comes in white and black, and a glorious raspberry shade of pink. I totally loved the pink, and am still really tempted to get it, but I opted for classic white, a…

Celebrity style update featuring Jessica Alba, Kate Moss and Soccer Aid!
This is a celebrity post that frankly could go on forever, and is really only ending at all because I am so tired (half term weeks are literally the most fun, and yet most exhausting weeks of the whole year by a mile.) There have been so many amazing looks sported by celebs over the past month or so, and many of them have come direct from the High Street. So this post includes a get the look for Hollywood star, and one of my style crushes, Jessica Alba, using pieces from Wallis, Debenhams and Northweek. There are looks from small screen goddesses Susannah Reid, Laura Whitmore and Kate Garraway,…

Festival styling by Boden
If I’m being truly honest, Boden would not necessarily be the first place I would look for festival friendly clothing. It doesn’t immediately spring to mind when you think of Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Ellie Goulding style Glastonbury wear. But this is the season that Boden has emerged as a new contender for festival fashion, with an eclectic collection just released that is dedicated to pieces that will look perfectly at home in a muddy field this summer. With pieces christened ‘Boho’ ‘Festival’ and ‘Glastonbury’, Boden has definitely got caught up in the summer music mood. Classic Festival style Boden has taken the elements of classic festival style, and has…

Boohoo Autumn Preview – and an array of Summer maxi dresses
The Boohoo.com preview for Autumn/Winter 2014 was held at No1 Marylebone, and had a true summer holiday atmosphere. There were photo booths, hook a duck games, seaside style cut-outs for posing in, and a feast of sunny food and drink choices. But there was also fashion that looked forward to the cooler days of Autumn and Winter, and eclectic mix of prints, colours and fabrics. I was a little confused with the styling, I guess I’m just too old for the baseball style jackets and glittery slogan sweatshirts. But I loved lots of the individual pieces that were adorning rail upon rail. I also fell in love with the…
